I feel like it’s really hard to make coins this year and I could use some help

Buy low, sell high.  Ride the waves my friend. 
 

Previous example was building the AKA All Pro Fred MLB. Was pretty profitable building and selling him for a good few days.

Buy platinum packs.  Seriously, it‘s probably the best way to acquire coins in the game.

Look for profitable sets on release day.  When TOTW dropped this week I made 750K coins building and selling Fields.
