Yeah, EA has been pretty generous with the 88s so far this year. Plus I just don't see how they could make my card an 88, Your card an 84, His card an 82. I think it will be a universal downgrade to 88 ovr across the board.

The field pass shows XXX/XXX stars for completing the challenges, right? That alone lets us know there will be another drop and more objectives.
They will probably just add more objectives to the field pass.

if you win all 72 games and do all the objectives you can get him to 95
we have to wait for the new solos to come though
No way they give us an 88 and 88 for free. I believe in order to be at 88, you need all cells in the upgrade path, so if you win all the games and do all the sets(about 600k coins!), you get 1 88 and an 80. Not a great promo if you ask me after the two week promo period. They either do this or remove all the cells and just make them both 88s, but you know that won’t happen…

I’m not salty at all. I apologize, I didn’t mean to come off like an a hole. It’s just that it literally says in the description that they will go to 88’s on the 17th. From what you said in your post it didnt sound like a guess. You sounded pretty sure that they will be 84’s. next time you should just say “maybe“ or “I think” so then other people don’t get the idea of them not being worth it to complete due to getting the wrong information

Seasonal currency has always been converted over to coins in the past. I am not entirely sure that EA intended for them to rollover into Season 2. I can't imagine they would really want everyone to have a95 Brian Dawkins on Day One of Season 3. We'll see what happens, but I'm not holding my breath.

Could they not just withhold later upgrades later in the season like they did with the 89? Also, I hadn’t seen who any of the S3 guys are expected to be.

Brian Dawkins, Kyle Vanden Bosch, Levon Kirkland, Christian Okoye & Martellus Bennett have all been shown as the Field Pass Season 3 Players on good old MUTLeaks.

It was intentional and according to EA (take that for what it's worth), they will roll over into S3 as well. If you look at the S2 announcement article they posted at the beginning of the season, they stated the following: "Earn Season tickets at every level of the field pass in order to buy all new rewards in the Season store, or hold on to them for use in future Seasons!"
What I was most annoyed about was that this was never mentioned in S1 so I didn't save any and made sure to spend them all before S2 started.

Very cool. Guess I should of read the fine print. I haven't spent any of mine yet, so I have 11,485 right now and still have 450 available to be earned. If EA doesn't change the price again, I can get an 89 token for 1,120 and carry over just a little over 10K into Season 3.
