Where do you guys put your best corner at? I’m torn between CB1 and slot, because when they’re in the slot they seem to get more action, but at CB1 they’ll be matched up against the best receiver… what do you guys do?
I run predominantly man cov all game, my best cover I have Joey P in the slot with Pick artist, my 2nd best corner gonzo at cb2 with pick artist and my “worst” corner terrion at cb1

Ok thanks, so you think CB1 is the least important spot? i run zone btw if that matters
CB2 usually matches with their best receiver who should be wr1.
I have my fastest cb at cb2 for that reason since they'll usually be on wr1 on the left hand side of the offensive formations.

Do you put your best corner at slot then?
Eagles TT, I have Dejean at CB1, arnold RP at CB2 and Slay at 3 but Dejean is the Slot CB1 so slay goes outside and dejean goes into the slot. As long as you have 3-4 good corners I wouldn't really worry about it a ton.
Sometimes I put a saftey at cb3 &/or 4 for good block shredding & tackling. Perfect for blitz & run. I have Dj at 1, Surtain at 2 & slot, Sherman at 3, Holland as 4 so I have Sherman & Holland for my blitz when I run dime/dollar/quarter.
