You want to sell when the is a lower amount of cards on the market. One thing I do is check players from specific programs on mut gg (such as reduxes, aka's, legends, totw). When looking at cards from these programs, if there is high volume of cards avaible, that is when you want to buy, and if the opposite is true, that is when you want to flip them. I would say that you also want identify which cards hold their value (meaning which cards may temporaly dip a bit, but then go back up over time). Not all cards hold their value.

H2h.  Ea actually has done a good job this year in giving usable BND season players that upgrade along the season. I use all of them. I win majority of my games with a team I spent zero real dollars on, with a laggy connection I might add. Although, lately this game is lagging so much I cannot play it at all. But winning a super bowl gets you I believe 300k+ coins. Somewhere around that  abyways if you take the 200k quicksell.

Sets are a waste of time in my opinion. Never found a big profitable set. Maybe you can make like 5k coins? Waste of time to me.

86 OVR NMS without points. 1.5 million and three LTD’s. No real effort yet in H2H Seasons or Champs, nor any Ranked games.

Made many of my coins on Legends and Breakouts sets. Some days when I log on, I see there’s little sure profit to be made on sets, and I look for something else to do.

Technically to be no money spent at this point you would have to either win/steal/earn Madden 25. It might be possible to grind enough “free” offers from Sony for PlayStation points/wallet funds to redeem them for Madden 25 in the store. I’m not entirely sure it can be done but it’s something I’ve considered and have certainly taken advantage of that system. It’s a wonderful little bonus Sony has added and I believe Microsoft has a similar rewards system.

You would also have to pay for your subscription for online play through some similar method. Again I’m not sure that’s possible.
 

If there is someone out there doing all that to be truly NMS you have my outmost respect, support and sympathy.

My point is that just about everyone has spent money to some degree and will more than likely spend again. Perhaps a more accurate term would be MMS or minimal money spent but thats just me arguing semantics.

Side note, if you choose to redeem PlayStation points I would suggest redeeming for wallet funds instead of Madden points. If you have EA play it’s been a no brainer for awhile because your points will be worth more $$ that way.

Now more specifically coins

I would suggest you consider all currencies when you are thinking about how best to make coins. As all currencies can be converted to coins in one way, shape, form or another. Training, season tickets, coins, time, madden points and cash. I separate Madden points and cash because as we already know there are ways to get Madden points without spending cash. As a result there can be differences in who, what, where, when and why they are redeemed. That distinction probably isn’t necessary for anyone other than people like me who way over engineer their processes.

Grinding the promos is a popular method and pretty foolproof once you get the hang of it. Nobody can guarantee you results though.

• For best results you should be logging in and identifying the store offers when they go live or before if possible.
• Make sure you look at all the offers, all the cards, all the sets and all the activities, I’ll call it.
• You should be looking at each tab in the store. Including training and season tickets.
• Look at the probabilities, for all the packs you can. EA only posts probabilities for items that can be purchased with Madden points. The rest of the currencies require a two step conversion to acquire. So EA, I believe, is not required by law to post them. This also means they can change those probabilities anytime they please and don’t have to notify us.
• With the probabilities we can deduce a few things. Like base level pulls people will be selling cheap. These can be flipped as is often with a bit of patience or as many are loving this year they can put in sets.
• We can often deduce amounts of higher level cards that will be pulled to some degree. If every player can buy 15 legend packs and there’s a 25% chance of pulling an 87+ we have some rough numbers to start working with. If you plug this info into an excel sheet over time good things happen or if you are looking for an easier way mut.gg has some great stats available. I hope everyone here is taking advantage of that.

• The bigger the content drop the bigger the impact. Most Feared coming up should generate a lot of activity and installs. Installs in this context includes not only new and reinstalls but also inactive users who haven’t been on since the last update. Historically it has done this.

   

Identifying trends and playing the market

This will be more difficult to do. You will lose sometimes and if you are new to it you will probably lose more often. If you are going to do this I would suggest creating an excel spreadsheet to help. It’s so much easier to keep it all straight and you don’t have to do the math every damn time.

In easy example of a trend I can hopefully use without blowing up anyone’s coin making strategy’s, is tournaments. Many competitive players not only buy the most expensive cards prior to a tournament but many sell them afterwards. You will be able to see it in the stats. Competitive players are usually smart but their timetables and impatience can mean profits for others.

In a different thread we were talking about LTD sneed. His data is a great example of what you are looking for. You can also deduce from the math there was a PS5 investor, not me, who made out great on 12-15 of them this past weekend. Congrats to whoever that was.

Ok this is already really long and I’ve barely covered anything. If anyone actually reads this and actually wants me to post more I‘ve got lots of time at the moment. I’m stuck on a flight for another 6 hours or so.

sets.  The Q.Nelson gametime set was very profitable, but when Team builders dropped and required 84s, it became much less profitable.

On PC, 84s were going for 30-35, but under 40.  I could build him for 185ish and sell him for 240.  

The jack Campbell, 82 Team builder was wildly profitable.  some of the set peices you got as a reawrd, but since the market was flooded with game time 80s, i just put them into the JC 82 set.   was fetching 45-55k

I routinely find cards below market and just flip as well.

Very possible. 2 years ago, I was NMS with about 45m coins AND a Gold 99 team to end the year. LTDs were actually a part of my strategy. I bought them when they dropped to or near quicksell price. That way I knew my coins were safe and sometimes I'd even make a small profit.

I sadly don't have time to work the market this year like I used to (I had a long sabbatical from work that year). This year I've not been playing that much due to time but already have 3m in coins. 

It would be close to 4m but I was burnt by the last mini market crash and I was holding cards like NTL, 87 Cheetah and Kincaid which lost significant value over 48 hrs while I wasn't able to play due to my schedule.

My current team is all BND and then low value cards to make a Double TT. I usually buy between 5 and 10 cards each week use them for max 3-4 days and then resell them hopefully for a small profit. But I play H2H during that window to max rewards. Then I play Solo Battles and Solo Seasons when back to my BND team.

I also spam low value sets (making between 2 and 10k) per set. Trying to reach about 5m before I consider more risky/rewarding investments like LTD investing, etc.

Build set cards. Bottom line. I make like 100-200k a day in 30-45 minutes of building profitable set cards and selling them. I have an 86 team and 10.1man coins. The only card on my team I could sell right now is Levis as the rest are BND, Rookie Premieres, and promo cards I’ve gotten for free.

From a BND perspective, always wait to open them once the whole promo is released. For instance, all of my 86+ BND GG packs will get opened on Thursday when the rest of the promo drops.

Dolphins players are really popular. Some of the low gold OL have sold for 20K +.

theres a bunch of nice sets out. Larry Allens legend set was like 70k profit if you did it right for a good 3 weeks, i believe in u brother
