passes rarely go incomplete to the ground, why is that?

Good day, everyone  

As the title was saying , whenever I play and make some bad passes  I’ve noticed that  my passes rarely go to the ground Missing my player instead it seems to pass directly in the direction of a defender, which usually turns out then to be an interception, the only passes that I do see go to the ground is when my player is trying to make a sideline catch, and it gets overthrown sailing towards the fans or the players standing on the sideline.  Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?

Passes going to defenders have 3 factors:

1. Bad read and you threw into coverage 

2. Bad pass lead

3. The game decides to give you and an inaccurate throw and it sails right to a defender. 

Also, there are times where I throw a pass and want to click on and take control of my WR, only for that interception animation/rng to take complete control away from me usering and its results in an interception. Incredibly annoying. It's why I favor older style football games that allowed the user to decide.

The sideline passes are bad. They've been bad for years. 

I mentioned in another thread that EA is on the right track with some things, but lots of things need to be improved for sure. One thing I like about this years game is passing concepts like stick, curl/flat, spacing, actually work and the spacing on the field allows for it as well. I also like how they've let you upgrade the Season players to actually be useful during the season, rather than having go get to level 45 and the player is outdated by the time you actually get them. 

 Overall, the game stlll needs to improve though. Not sure who can argue that point.
