5 Wide all game or practically all game is a Madden gliche. Lineman can't pass protect effectively all game, especially if fatigue is on.

87 JJ McCarthy is by far the best QB I've used. Went back to him after 88 Levis blew it. Sailed passes left and right. Maybe the traits make a difference?

86 Pat Surtain is still my best corner although I have 88 Josh Williams and 89 Coop DeJean. His side is basically a no fly zone and according to his stats, he has more pick sixes than all of my other corners combined.

88 Levis was a total bust for me like I already said. 

86 Joe Alt couldn't keep a rusher in front of him to save his life. Since the change to 86 Lane Johnson, I noticed a pretty big difference.

87 Julian Love was non-existent when I used him. No ints, no pass breakups, no nothing.

Josh Uche (granted with tt boost)

Picked up clowney and used him for a couple games then went back to Uche. Well worth whatever coin he's going for. All of Jadaveons boosts and Uche still plays better.

Also, not so much a budget player but slay at cb. 

Every time i play him he's a menace so i picked him up to replace night train. 

Night train has frying pans for hands, drops every potential pick during a  50/50

For me it 86 Sam DarnoId. I’m mostly offline and have been rocking Vick for about a month and I packed Sam. Thought I throw him in there for a solo season and he’s crushing it. I’m not a mobile qb guy usually just really love Vicks throw power. So Sam works well for me with the boosts

I hated Levis with gunslinger.   Missed way more passes than any other QB I’ve used.  
 

cards that have been good for me are Anthony Richardson, Marvin Harrison Jr, Nick Bonitto core elite is a budget beast rushing the passer.   83 Jeremy chinn is still in my lineup because he balls out.

Guys like Divine Deablo and Trenton Simpson are LBs that for well under 100k play amazing

Another is Marshawn Lynch (I got him for free from the AKA challenges) who is around 100k. Pairing x-factor tank with indoor baller (which is cracked this year because of the new hitstick mechanic) so about 90% of my games it only takes 1 10+ yard run to activate makes him so good. Not to mention that he already breaks many tackles without tank

I'm a niners fan so I had to pick up Darnold for the theme team and he feels nice. 

That's until Brock Purdy gets a new card.

A glitch as in, an exploit taking advantage of Madden's coding or limitations thereof? I usually don't take but a second or two to make a throw, but I can assure you, my guys definitely do NOT effectively pass protect all game by any means. Why is empty a glitch? Would something like spread or stack y-flex or trey open be a glitch? They have the RB but RBs are trash at blocking imho.

the 86 ovr team builder Max Melton, the 86 ovr aka Marvin Harrison Jr  and 87 ovr velus jones jr have all been playing well on my cardinals/bears tt.

Paul Krause might be the best deep defensive back in the game. i play him only as a deep safety so idk about him playing corner, in the slot or in the box.
