S2 upgrade "currency"??

I've seen both yes and no answers to this, so I just wanted to ask for verification....

I haven't spent any of my S2 points to upgrade any of my Field Pass players yet.

Should I do them today (before the field pass expires to S3? Or do they all get carried over to next Season?

Wouldn't it be nice if we could get an answer from EA instead of guessing how this game is played?

I've decided not to trust EA and upgraded early.  I don't see any downside. There should be sufficient S3 points to upgrade S3 players as they are released.

The EA blog for S2 did say "use them to upgrade S2 players or save them for future use", so there is that. BUT, even with that , there is zero guarantee that EA honors that and rolls them. It's a gamble either way. EA refuses to provide the community with clear communication, even though it would help them as much as us. EA will always EA.

All S2 tickets will transfer to S3. No need to rush to spend them.   EA said this in their blog.   I'm carrying over close to 8k myself and now several others doing the same since S2 players weren't that great.

I think LT Smith is worth upgrading if you don't have one of the various other free LTs. Got a number of players that look great in the upcoming season.
