Without spending money, what is the best route without spending millions of coins or is it not worth it?
probably gonna have to over spend. but i’d do the lower over all one first, then use those players in sets to acquire as much of the 87s as you can and then do that set too.
wouldn’t bother with the champ set that’s like 5m coins
I feel like I’m missing something here….are these even completable until the next release? And these are completed just for upgrade tokens? Explain the lure of these sets. Seems like it’s for suckers unless I’m just not getting it….

Same thing for me, I don't really understand the set and what you get back. It says you get all the cards, but doesn't say if they are BND or not. And what are the Most Feared tokens?
You can get upgrade tokens in fear store so puzzling

I thought those tokens were to upgrade hill and mystery player

They are, which is why this so dumb. Who’s paying 5 mil to turn their 90’s into BNDs just to upgrade their mystery player? I’m convinced this is an EA IQ test to see what they can get away with for future programs.
And if for some crazy reason they are auctionable when they return (I know they’re not) you’d still be paying 500k+ for only enough upgrade tokens to maybe get one BND Hill or ????. Somebody make it make sense. My head hurts from this.
The advantage, I believe, is that you get the 3 tokens and all of the players back. You can then sell them or upgrade them to try to complete the 87 sets. It is definitely worth doing if you get the players cheap enough that you can then sell back for a likely profit. For some reason on Saturday (perhaps because of the Legends glitch??), all of the 82 cards were unbelievably cheap (often under 10k) so I was able to complete the set minus the one "future release card". Of course I could see Madden screwing us by making all of the cards we get back as BND so they are useless, but at least so far they do not say the cards will be BND. I think it only cost me about $350-400k, which, I guess, is still worth it for a OVR 90 6'4" 300+ pound cornerback. However, I know if I tried to sell them back now, I would make a significant profit.

I finished the 2 lower tier sets minus the 1 none of us can get. I'm kind of tempting on selling them all. When everyone trades these sets in. There gonna then sell all there cards back. Market is gonna crash with most feared cards. Buy then when there low and complete sets. What do you think of that idea? I've been thinking about this all day. Lol
If they are indeed not bound, and you are able to get for below market average, it will be a come up. Plus the future program champion.
I think the allure is the ability to get an extra 90 and the next program champ. WOrth depends on whether or not you get everything back auctionable

I bought everything for the set and was just waiting for a player from the next release to complete the set.
Then I read the description better. I think we would only get the 84 OVR's back and would lose all of the 82 OVR's.
It looks like it would cost around 150,000 coins just to get 3 upgrade tokens.
If you have a binder full of 80 OVR's it may not cost too much, since you can turn 80's to 82's then turn the 82's to 84's.
I would say you would spend about 500,000 coins if you aren't sitting on a binder full of 80's..
I got all three as done as possible over the weekend. So I’ll be prepared if it ends up being attractive to me when the time comes. These sets remind me of old MUTs. Which makes me hopeful for the outcome.
Side note I wouldn’t leave them in the set for a prolonged time. That sounds like a recipe for a disappearing act. Especially after all the recent shenanigans.
First I did some sniping and sets. Worked through fodder That was taking too long for me. So i decided to move onto to MF training rolls. I After spinning it all I added everything I could to the sets and did some more sets in the process.
Then I QS all the leftovers for fear and spun that in the fear store. By the time I was done I had both the first two sets completes and 4 champs I built in the process. Plus some pieces I used to help build a couple more.
For the champs I mostly built them because of the volume of MF cards I acquired from the training rolls.
Be diligent in watching them though l. You can already see that some of the champs are behaving differently. At some point most will probably be cheaper but there may also be 2 or 3 that surprise you.
To make you aware if you aren’t already aware pulling a champ out of the rolls is I’m my experience impossible. At least it has been for me. I rolled several hundred thousand training this weekend and didn’t pull a single one from the training rolls.
I’m not sure if this is the cheapest way but the numbers worked for me and it was so much faster. That was one of the deciding factors for me because of everything happening in game this weekend.
Reason: Typos always typos
I’m skipping the whole thing to save brain cells for other forms of entertainment. Got the couple cards I wanted, don’t need to complete a puzzle with them to get an extra superpower or whatever tf they are offering
I hesitate slightly to invest in the set cards, as I am concerned that the one "placeholder" might prove to be multiple cards. I sure that EA didn't plan on Most Feared Release 2 consisting of an elite, a hero, and a champion.
And outside of the aberration in pricing due to the Legends glitch, the numbers so far haven't favored buying earlier. I think the people that try to complete the set early are going to find they crash the market.
