Investing into QB Market, good idea?

So I bought QBs that were 88-89 overall that either dropped significantly or was a snipe, I bought multiple 89 AKA mahomes for good price because of AKA offer and QB market drop and I also got 2 Richardsons, 2 Will Levis's, Aaron Rodgers, and Justin Fields. I need someone to let me know if this is a good idea because last time the QB market dropped, Mahomes came out and I had bought Richardson for around 300k, then he went back up to 450K. Or.. am I cooked?

Hard to say. Depends what sets are coming. Eventually we'll get sets for 90s. When that comes out they should rise significantly! But ya never know the market!! I did the same thing with 86s and 87s few weeks ago.

Yeah I guess. Only problem is if this fails I am cooked LOL i bought 10 Patrick Mahomes

Yeah it sucks when you lose a lot of coins, I actually lost 300k this weekend dud to Micah Parsons investment and other cards i bought for low dropped lower. Now I need 300k back to get back up to 10 milli coins 😭

I would never invest on qbs and Runningbacks they always drop a new qb or running back each week. Lamar is coming this week and maybe a Russ Wilson.

I got tired of waiting for 82-83, 84-85, and 86-87 core sets so I started selling 82, 83 and 84 OVR's.

We have 90 OVR in the game so I am not sure why the core sets and the strategy sets haven't updated???

only limiteds, and floor totw/aka cards are a good investment, everything else will only fall.

It's very risky investing in qbs and rbs because we get new and better ones all the time. I'm sure its still doable but just alot more risky and its always near impossible to predict what EA will do. There are ways to make coin. Just take it as a lesson learned

It is hard because you can get a better one later

100% never QB's are dropped every week.

If I were you, I would sell and just hold the coins. Investing in the QB market is hard because none of these quarterbacks really stand out. The best budget Qb is Penix, and he's being used by 20% of players because he's free. Luck just came out and he can be attained through AKA tokens. Then you have non LTD Lamar coming either this Thursday or next Thursday. Those 3 quarterbacks are all going to be valued higher than the guys you listed.

I would think it is never good to hold on to these cards, but a quick investment and sell can work. You see it with Brady when Luck came out but also with White when Parsons came out. Just as these new cards are dropped, the other cards tank. Usually within 24 (sometimes have to wait 48 hours) they go back up. You just have to time it. The only way to make a real profit holding onto a card is if it is really the best in the market and you think the new card will turn into a disappointment (e.g., every Mahones card that ever was released) or timing it with the redux release.

I will admit that while that has worked for me, it has never been why I do it. Usually it is some card that I really want to try out. Time getting it when it hits the bottom. If I do not like the card a much as I thought I would (usually 95% of the time), I get to sell it for a reasonable profit.

well good cuz most of the qbs i bought were 11 patrick mahomes for around like 180k, and he is 230K now after day one. Ima keep holding onto mahomes because he is an AKA and from what I think they peak on thursday or friday. i only bought like 4-5 others but honestly i already sold 2 off for profit. Thanks for the info though!

Update: He is already being sold for 250K-260K and its day 2, my investment completely hit.
