Voice chats need to be recorded

Enough is enough, tired of listening to all these little worms spew hate and have zero consequence. Constant racism and abuse on this shitty ass game. Yes there is a mute button, but there needs to be a way to punish these players. EA literally has positive play on the field if you want positive play start fucking enforcing it. Anyone sick and tired of these clowns? i shouldn’t have to mute someone at the start of each game/join a party chat to avoid hearing them. I play on ps5 and can hear them from my controller

I know on Xbox you can report voice chat, but it would have to be when you're playing against another Xbox player. Not sure if that option exists on Playstation though

Last time I had voice chat enabled, some guy (who sounded like a fully grown adult, mind you) made these obnoxious loud noises and spewed the N word every 2 minutes. I reported him and did EA did nothing about it, basically told me there was nothing they could do. Which they're capable of doing more about this, but basically WON'T do anything. In my book EA is complicit and enabling this behavior. So I disabled voice chat and never looked back ever since.

I don't play online all that often, but I have heard similar language when my son plays H2H.  He's 18 so it's not really a big deal – usually we just laugh about it., but it can get pretty bad at times.

Here's a thought create a party by yourself. Why do you NEED to interact with them.

seems like you didn’t read the whole post, does running away from the problem solve anything? So what I don’t hear it? It’s still happening I can still see their mic moving and know they are being toxic. It’s 2024 if I message someone on playstation I can get banned for simply bugging them, EA needs to do better for the community

Seeing someones mic moving is troubling you.... Bro you need psychological help. Like seriously that's unstable. I think your issues lie far beyond this "video game"

Since EA will do nothing about it, sometimes you just have to fight fire with fire unfortunately. If my opponent is making obnoxious noises, or crossing the line with their language, I just turn on my mic and take my headset off. I will grab my phone and play annoying sounds/loud obnoxious music. Then put my phone next to the mic/headset and let the magic ensue. 

This will typically get them to mute you, and shut up.

But when you are playing madden complaining about people trash talking is as dumb as it gets. Mute your opponent or shut up. Get over it if words hurt you than hit the mute button. So I Stand by my statement, original poster needs to sack up and stop complaining over words.

I usually just mute the volume so i never hear anything.
