Yesterday was my breaking point. This game is indeed absolute hot garbage. On top of defense being non-existent and QB's not being able to hit simple passes, you run into players that all they do all game is hit seam routes and check downs to their RB's. Both the game and most of the idiots that play it are trash

It really is, cfb is actually quite good gameplay wise, beats Madden like a baby seal

I Play it for the sport. I like to watch football so therefore I like to play it on my PS5.

I think the most telling thing is that I've never seen the nut forums this dead in OCTOBER. Most people have already given up because of how bad the game is this year. This is coming from someone who plays until January every year

I've focused on stacking my Defense up in order to make the Defensive challenges easier.

My three corners are 90's.  I have Dawkins and Tillman at Safeties.  D line is stacked and I still can't get a stop...  I've literally tried every formation and Defensive adjustment you can think of.

I've recently spent a lot of time in practice mode, just to watch the replays of the defense getting beat in everything.

I should have stacked up my Offense and left my Defense to rot, I've always felt Defense was the Achilles heal of Madden, but shouldn't you lock down on defense if you win every matchup?

People aren't spending anything on On-line, because they know that it doesn't matter how good your D-Line is, they still won't win the battles.

I came back to Madden after 10 years away and to my surprise, the game is worse...

Tackling is garbage, coverage is terrible and they haven't been able to patch the fact that you can literally run the same play every drive and the defense won't adjust... 

What is Play Recognition even for?  The defense doesn't recognize it's own shadow.

I last played Madden in 2014.

I came back this year because I missed Franchise mode, but I found it was unplayable... How is it possible that after 10-years I find it worse than before?  If you save your "online" franchise and try to play it, every transition screen takes awhile to load.

I gave up on franchise before I could get started.

MUT is a bit addicting, but the gameplay ruins the experience.

You grind hard for these cards, only to find that they don't really make your team better.

Think about this for a second; how much better does Bosa make the 49ers defense?

That one players disruptive presence makes a big difference.

On MUT I have DeMarcus Ware, Micah Parsons, Joe Green, Reggie White and Charles Haley rushing the QB and still can't pressure the QB without blitzing... 

Backing them up are three corners 90 overall and I can't lock down the CPU on low difficulty.

And you still call this a true Sim game.
