Caption is probably a bit confusing. Just wondering if anyone else went from getting decent matchups with a a couple hell games mixed in (champs/seasons), to the point where it is now for me where I get matched up with someone who has a 89-90 overall team running meta defense and offense all game long. 2 weeks ago I was consistently getting 16 wins per week in champs and hanging tough in legend difficulty in seasons. I’m now at about a 50% win rate and every game goes the distance with the last points being scored in the final minute of the game. Sorry for any run ons. I’m just hoping anyone could shed some light.
We're basically in November and if they've played since day one they should have a decent team. Also not many casuals are playing online so your running into more serious competition. These are my personal opinions
Game is dead more people are playing 24 than 25 on psn right now. The casuals have left completely
Your in Legends winning 50%. Looks like matchmaker is doing it's job.
Cod came out, so only the madden sweats for awhile until Madden goes on sale and brings some new people in.

This was probably the answer I was looking for. The other guy saying that if I’m winning 50%, and I’m in legend division that matchmaking is doing its job. Apparently he missed the entire point of the question. I was winning at like an 85% clip approximately 3 weeks ago. Something moved in the competition I’m going up against suddenly. Like overnight.

Other people will tell you its the Ebooks and the youtubers fault! haha, nah I'm pretty sure this is the answer. When the more casual fan base leaves mut gets a lot harder. I play squads and me and my friend consistently match 2 dudes I'm in a discord with, and we just can't beat them they know all the cheese. When you start recognizing gamertags you know the player pool is just low.

Welp I got my real answer and it’s what I had feared from the start. The development team added ELO matchmaking in MUT champs. Happened in the big update that came out before this last one. Now there are zero modes that don’t take ELO into matchmaking. One thing is certain though. The rewards are no where good enough in champs to sweat through sbmm in that mode.
Reason: Typo

Not sure that ELO is new, I’ve been hearing people complain about it since mut 23
