Yesterday I bought randy moss and I disabled antonio gates x factor to enable randy moss. When i disabled antonio gates I was at 2/3 x factors, now when I try to enable randy moss, or really any other player, it tells me I'm exceeding the limit of 3 x factors.
This is now happening again on my defense now that I try to enable jaylon johnson, is there any fix? I am out here playing with only 2 x factors on both sides of the ball

Researched online and found a fix which was to remove the last player with an x factor from your lineup, and it worked for offense. but the problem is I'm trying to enable two new players on my defense and I can only enable one new one (and then I have to remove it if I wanna enable the next one). This is stupid by EA.
I have the same problem with my QB...card has a baked on ability so I can't remove the ability...I can deactivate it...but...as soon as I go to activate another one...the one on the QB comes back on and now I'm over the limit. Figured I will have to live with it until I upgrade at QB and can just remove (sell) the card.

Happened to me in both last yearand now. i just delete and add again the players with x factors.
Nothing new, been a glitch for a few years now. If you get caught in it, you gotta remove the deactivated x factor player from the lineup completely.
The way to avoid this is by deactivating the x factor before refunding it or downgrading the player. I have never had it glitch when doing it in this order.
