I want to complete the Most Feared champion set, currently, it’d cost around 7mil to buy the 20 players needed.
I currently have 6 mil. What is the best day/time when prices tend to be cheapest? and alternatively, when are prices highest?

I think it already passed when everyone else was doing the sets and reselling the cards at a reduced rate. I really wish I had saved all of my cards when I got them back and then sold them this weekend with the price bump. But I panicked because I only had 150k left in my binder with all the cards returned and I wanted to get liquid again.

Ah okay, that’s a shame. Thanks.
Look for the low end first cards that were released first for under 250k (Gates; Brady; Chubb; etc.) and the other ones (the left tackle; Von Miller; Lamar) for under 350k. If you see that happening it might still be worth it. I am glad I did it in the end, but it all depends on who the Unstoppable reward player is who is going to be released on November 7. Have you done the other 2 sets?

im trying it now, if I temporarily sell off a few other players I should be able to get them. Hopefully won’t lose too much once I’ve sold them all back off.
I’ve got 6 more players to get at the moment.
Fingers crossed for someone good 🤞
Thursday/friday was the best. Managed to do all the sets then resell to break even over the weekend. Next drop will be weds night into thursday for new promo

What truly was the reward for doing these? Not being snarky, just overall curious. I looked at doing them, but I didn't fully understand the rewards and if they were worth it.

Another choice of any suh/hill,tokens to get him maxed, a free 91 ovr unstoppable player this thursday or 350k.
The prices for MF hit their lowest on Halloween. The prices for the most part have climbed since but may have peaked yesterday. There should be a market correction but I’m not surprised EA wanted to drive prices up a bit yesterday given we are hitting the end of MF, the Randall situation and the quick transition to upcoming promos. Yesterday was a well executed on EA’s part. I don’t expect the market to drop more than about 8-12% and I’m leaning towards the lower end. Obviously there are outliers and a several MF cards are among them. This doesn’t apply to the MF cards that are already priced too low. Like MF 90s at around 300k. These values are being determined by other currencies and those won’t be overly impacted until a major market shift happens. Something like an overall increase, a new promo drops, the removal of the fear store or the blitz. The value of those cards will most likely be set by training once they convert their QS values.
Another consideration is that the Supply of MF cards is falling. Yesterday’s release aided in that. Another thing well executed by EA. On the flip side demand for MF cards is also falling. There is potentially a window one could profit from the shortage that is/will occur.

Thank you for the informative answer.
I'm going to plow on and complete the set, only need Lamar and Chase to finish it now. I’m expecting to lose a fair bit, but we’ll see.
It's impressive the intricacy of the market and how much has to go into it to keep things balanced.

Ea actually has people working on mut whose only job is to analyze the card market and make changes they see fit in their favor believe it or not.
You might be able to narrow the gap between what you have and what you need by using your Fear currency to buy one of the priciest non-BND Champions. I had to quicksell a couple of my LTD's to get over the hump. And in between Most Feared snipes, grind for a profitable set where one exists.
