Well, for one, the game is laggier than ever. And not my internet as I booted up Madden 24 and had no issues. Much smoother gameplay. Madden 25 is literally unplayable for me.
On top of this, things that have been nerfed:
1. Defensive user control. Not only is it laggy, but its painfully obvious that EA took the ability to user your defender to make tackles or move in the open field. They slow your players down a lot of the time. Example being, for some reason my opponents get to run around with free will with their QB and my defenders just stand around and watch him run. Especially in the redzone. I click onto a player to try and make a tackle, and you can just tell my defenders speed and change of direction is nerfed to allow my opponent to just run it into the end zone. Happening a lot lately.
2. Clicking on to a defensive lineman that sheds is no longer available. Every time I click to get onto a a defensive lineman that sheds to dive and get a sack, it clicks me onto some random player away from the play.
3. I've clicked on numerous times to make an interception, spam "Y" and my cornerback does nothing. Doesnt put his hands up, doesn't jump. Nothing. Balls sails right by him. Just had someone convert a 4th and 24 this way.
4. Anyone know why my opponents get 18 years to pass and I get 2 seconds?
5. Throwing seam passes against quarter zones? That's makes sense. Yet, I run mam beaters that get bumped and don't get open? Yet opponent can throw any thing right into coverage?
Try going back and play Madden 24. Much better and smoother gameplay.
And, as said, EA servers are awful. Madden 24? Had no issues. Madden 25? Unplayable. Ill probably getting a refund from Microsoft for this sad game. Just play Madden 24. Not only is it playable with less lag, but a better game overall.
Got to say, this is possibly not only the worst Madden ever, but worst video game in sports gaming history.
Guess that's fitting for the worst company in the world?
