I’ve got 3k season 3 tickets and haven’t spent any previously so what’s the best way to spend em?

Hang on to them for now.  If Season 2 was an indicator, the prices for the upgrades will likely drop soon, making it cheaper for you to upgrade the season players.

They will carry over to S4, also agree with  rimbaud, when the final tokens drop in store all the prices adjust. 

this season i don’t think too many are worth it. I’m saving mine personally

You definitely want to upgrade KVB as he's a top 3 DE in the game. Depending if you run zone or man, Dawkins is great in a zone scheme and Bennett is runnable as well - easily as good as Gates given great blocking stats. I'd limit your upgrades to 3 though as those players will probably age out of the game in 2-3 weeks. Once that happens, you can max out Okoye and have a FB that will get you through the new year.
