I still haven’t bought 25 for the simple fact of the game being the same crap but getting worse every year so I just want to see everyones opinion
you know I have enjoyed playing mut since mut 25(25th anniversary) and played every Madden from that point to mut 23 and I barely played M23 I was off and on until January before I gave it up and took 24 off, and i think that’s why I’m enjoying m25 as much as I am even with the game in a total mess like dam I’ve never seen the game in this bad of state but I mean it’s kinda comical and I’m trying to not get so angry and instead laugh at the EA fuckery because this year has been funny asf tbh. Also I’m trying to take it as competitive as I can but this shit this year I’m just trying to make up my own scheme and I’m doing my first NMS which has made the game more fun because I’m using players that I can just get instead of buying coins and packs lol.
it aint perfect but its football and better than madden 24
I enjoy the MUT journey...this year EA made a couple good moves. Giving us all the solo battles at one time was a good thing...solo seasons was a great thing. Both of these modes allow for ample play and enjoyment without having to deal with the H2H world. The problem is not really with the game....all games have glitches...the problem is the players who exploit these glitches...and then...brag about it. Numerous "free" cards this year...spending the least amount of money then previous years.

MUT being a buggy mess is certainly a primary reason why I’m struggling to enjoy it. Why is that different than any other year? Because now it’s interfering with my ability to have fun.
EA is responsible for those glitches and exploits being in the game. They plague everything from gameplay, to the market, to the menus, to the releases. While I would like to fully blame EA for the repercussions that ensue and I do hold them as primarily responsible. I must acknowledge your point. People are responsible for their own actions. Among those actions are some that have and will continue to result it consequences for us all.
Some argue that you can’t expect people not to take advantage of what as available for their own gain and I agree that is true to an extent. It’s like going to the judge and saying the police officer left his keys in the car. How could you expect me not to steal it? I understand that example is extreme. Insider trading would have been a better example. Insert your own witty examples. They are probably better than mine.
If EA is responsible for their actions then so are we. If we aren’t forced to participate we are also not forced to take advantage of others, their mistakes or ineptitudes in this case. That’s probably more idealistic than realistic in this case because of the consequences we face regardless of our actions.

Agree 100% with everything you noted...a couple days ago I received a few (about four) random MF packs (82+or84+ BND). I finished up all the MF challenges and got all my "rewards" days before...so these just popping in after a routine solo battles was clearly a mistake. So what did I do? I left them unopened and just continued playing my solo battles (I was certain I had not "earned" these packs, so assumed...EA screwed up). The next day they were still sitting there waiting on me to open...I did not...the next day (this morning) they were gone (EA must have figured it out and took them back...which is fair). Point is...we as players have choices...when there is a pack glitch in this game folks will be quick to exploit it and rack up coins. Their thought may be...they are sticking it to EA when in reality...they are sticking it to those who didn't take advantage of that EA "mistake". I think insider trading is a great example you pointed out...sure it would be tough to not take advantage of some insider info that could change my financial standing...but in order to do that I would have to compromise my integrity. Now...I'm not going to say "I can't be bought", because I'm certain I can...but...there is nothing (not millions of virtual coins) that EA could offer me to have me compromise (take something I'm not entitled to). Same with glitches in coverage or whatever...we as MUT folks almost all have access to Google and could easily do a quick search and in a few minutes master the glitch...I don't do that as I see it as a form of cheating (I respect that others don't). So I play H2H games straight up (I will concede quick, but as long as my opponent gets credit for the win I don't see that as cheating) and let the chips fall where they may...I don't win many H2H games (don't play many as others are following different rules), but the ones I do participate in are enjoyable (most of them are losses as I'm also not a good player). Long way of me saying...I completely agree with your position.
I literally love it so much. Combines all my fav things, football, video games, gambling, team building etc. So many different ways to play too, I never get bored. Switching schemes and playbooks and rosters and abilities etc. Def my fav game ever.
