Maybe there is a thread on this already, but I'm currently using Lamar w/ GS and he overthrows a lot of easy throws. I know this is a GS issue, so I'm curious what the fastest release is this year (From the pocket). I know it varies for short, medium, and deep, also does any know if quickdraw gets overthrows like GS?

Has there really been a problem with overthrows related to GS? I haven’t heard about it but it makes sense.

From the one's I've tried, Josh Allen/Penix/Richardson was my favorite (lower three quarters 2). Luck/Cunningham is pretty decent (over the top 2).
I've heard Rodgers/Love's release is also good (three quarters 3)...and the only releases I really didn't like was Vick/Tebow.

Yeah, GS makes you miss short throws pretty consistently...it actually lost me games when I used it. Definitely not worth it.

Over the top 2 is my current fav release
Andrew Luck has it and Im currently using Bledsoe for my Pats TT also has Over the Top 2

HURTS with GS is literally a surgeon.
The complaint about his animations taking longer are silly because you can hike the ball at any point during his animation.
He never overthrows. In fact I haven't thrown a single pic with him that wasn't clearly me just making the wrong decision.

It’s usually high AP points so I don’t use it. Use the points where they can help more. Maybe in the receiving End, or front line.

Yeah I'm going to give Luck a try without GS, Lamar's hot routes are garbage too so another reason to try Luck.

Nah it's a pretty broken ability, it bails you out of a lot of blitzes. I've just been dealing with the occasional overthrows on the short stuff. There's a reason it's 4 AP and a lot of High level players swear by it. I don't think spending AP on the line or receivers is important at all right now.

My vote goes to Brees.. unfortunately he's very slow, but I tried a lot of QBs and don't like gunslinger myself. Brees has the best release imho.

to each his own. Good luck with your decision. Without a good O-line, you might just need the ability.
