All madden Promo is going to be expensive

From what I gather from the set requirements . 3 x 79 = 81 AM , then you need 5 of those for an 84 AM , 3 84 = 86 , 5 X 86 = 89 . and you need 3 AM 89 ‘s plus an additional 2 for a 92 champion . Even if you can get 79’s at 1000 coin , it’s going to take almost 200K to build an 89. I hope the set requirements are wrong . I’m going off why Mut gg posted on the promo

U have to consider packs also that will have 89s so probably start 800+ and drop around 600+ by Saturday IMO

this is the same as it has been for every promo though and they’ve always been about 400-600k. its gonna be fine

Expensive and also not worth it whatsoever. Montana is just gonna be the next trap QB when they inevitably release another one 2 days later, and his stats suck with the only redeeming factor being HRM. The others are already outdated by 95 OVRs. rip

This one is a little different. It will take you basically 15 79 , to make the 84 , which is equivalent to the GG , 83’s and unstoppable 83’s which took only 9 79’s ( 3 x 81) . For me this looks way to pricey to build

Who builds from the golds or low elites? I rarely reach below hero level items to build champions. Legends are an exception because in-demand champions require a corresponding hero.

I prebuilt sauce , Henry and Jefferson all for 400K , sold for 700K each . I didn’t use golds as I sniped a bunch of 81 , problem with this set , you can’t use other 81 to build the 84 . so if you want the am 81s , you need the 79’s .

I'm not doubting the possibility of your claim, just the feasibility of it. There are more efficient ways to build sets and profit from them. If you spend an hour building two champions at 300k profit apiece, or if you spend an hour building eight champions at 150k profit apiece, it just makes more sense to produce as many coins as quickly as you can. Having to assemble 3*5*3*5*5=1,125 cards would take a tremendous amount of time. And since you're not going to quickly find 79's at only 1,000 coins apiece, you would spend days trying to employ your method to make just one champion. That's not how anyone does this.

I’ve had the most luck producing coins quickly by selling the mid level stuff in promos . 84 MF , 85 unstoppables , 83 GG , etc . People usually dump their cards they get cheap after not hitting on packs . I buy and quickly resell . I work from home so can jump into the auction house throughout the day. Might point is the 5 81’s to 84 is a difference on this promo . I just dont see the potential to make money like I did on the others . I’ll still work the AH and try , but we will see .

What you described here is nothing like what you described earlier with building items via sets. As for what is profitable, that changes from time to time due to market forces. If you've sold mid-tier elites for a good profit, you'll be fine going forward.
