AP Update strategy

With 6 ap on offense and 7 ap on defense starting today, what is the move? Have KOs done anything for yall this year? I feel like those and inside stuff/outside stuffs got nerfed heavily. 

I lowkey hate how Green gets Tank as an ability 2ap but Henry the power back demon gets Jack nothing but 1ap Tank X XF. QB abilities seem to be the move on offense, especially with some GOATED XF choices for AP... and defense maybe pick artist all around- with maybe an unstoppable force XF AKA? 

I know some is scheme dependent, but let me know what you guys think about AP distribution- and what abilities are good/bad for you this year.

I think i'm just going to go full Pick Artist for my defense.  FS, SS, and CB 1 with PA, then Ward with his 1 ap AKA PA in the slot.  For offense i'll probably just add gift wrapped to my gunslinger QB, then reach for it on my RB.

RB Apprentice, probably. Not sure yet on D.

I'm still going to be using GS on my QB, so I'll only have 2 AP available on offense. I feel like putting Gift Wrapped on my QB will be a must just because it will benefit my entire offense instead of just one player. 

If not Gift Wrapped, I may try a deep in Elite on Randy Moss or George Kittle just to try it out, but have a hard time feeling like that'll be worth 2 AP.

As for defense, I'll definitely be testing some of the KOs on my Safeties and/or LBs. Not sure if they work as well this year, but seems like a lot of pass rushing and run stopping abilities on the dline feel nerfed so not sure I'd want to use the AP on those either.

We are at the point that it’s SFL on offense and whatever else you want to use 1 AP on (I’m personally going to choose gift wrapped). You will be at a complete and total disadvantage if you run anything other than SFL. It’s a sad, but true reality in this game. 
 

Defense I’m just going to add a pick artist. Knockouts have been iffy for me this year. Inside stuff actually played decently for me, but still don’t feel it’s the move over another PA in the secondsry.

SFL is not better than GS this year. They nerfed the hell out of it.

Ive been on all morning, my aps havent updated. Weird. But I actually slightly disagree as I'm a huge huge fan of deep ball deadeye. But I always find myself a minority in these forums.

I'll have to see it to believe it.  This will be the first time we've been able to equip it (outside of the xfactor stuff), so I'm interested to see if it still plays the same as it did years prior.

I will be putting mzko now on both of my sub lb's which are safeties. I have had it just on kam chancellor and there have been several instance where my opponent expects to complete a short drag, curl, slant, texas, or short post route, and kam knocks that crap out. I have being waiting for the opportunity to put another mzko on my other Sub LB, so I can rotate my users and not have worry about putting the one that has a ko in  a specific spot every time. 

It also helps that a lot of players are used to getting away with murder and have forgetten to account for mzko on sub lb's.

I've heard this too - most pros that have tested SFL this year say it's not as good as last year, and not as good as Gunslinger. Because there's currently no defense other than blitzing, that ability to get the throw off faster is more valuable than more throw velocity.

I have 91 Luck will use X-factor GS ability on him 4 ons 5 offs and Gift wrap. Will use Tank and RB Apprentice on Green. On defense pick artist as many players as I can.

I'm going to keep my offense the same till I face SFL, just to see how it is.

Offensely, I'm still running Cunningham with: GW, Conductor, & Protected. Adding RB Apprectiance.

Defensely, 3 deeps Ins and Blitz x-factor on Minister. The way I rotate my safeties, I need the extra awareness that comes with that ability

Replying to myself…

I saw it and believed it. Not a great ability. I had purchased Randall for 1m flat when Jayden was announced and was expecting an AP increase and would either have SFL or possible profit. I’ll take the slight profit…not worth it. 
 

Guess I’m back to the QB and AP drawing board. Will prolly use someone cheap until Blitz and see who comes out.
