of course lol EA are greedy gnawing rats
I built a Caleb Williams last night. Was gonna list him for 660,000 coins and I noticed thete selling under 400 now. Wtf happend in the last 12 hours?! I lost out big time on many cards.

Think Cuba under Castro. I think that’s where our economy is and a large contributor to why people act this way in MUT. Too far? Oh well I’m already the resident crack pot on this stuff.
At the end of the day, I prioritize the value a player brings to their specific position.
For example, the price difference between Talib and Night Train is around 514%. However, the overall improvement in key traits like SPD, ACC, MCV, ZCV, PRC, JMP, and TAK is only about 4%.
Because of this, I don’t see Talib as a smart investment, but more of a desirable addition to a team.
Currently, Night Train is priced around 300-350k, so my strategy is to wait for a player with at least a 5% improvement in those traits to drop into that same price range of 300-350k.
It's a delayed gratification strategy :)

Fire opportunity wiped the market, if I were you buy these cards up and hold on to them and resell them later.

You're completely correct. I ran an experiment when the 95 team diamonds came out. I ran a team with 24 of them and lost millions in coins doing it. Sadly of all of them in my opinion only about 10-12 perform well but that doesn't make them worth the price especially now with 93 and even 90 zero chill players.
I'm rethinking my whole approach to DB's with new to me information about release making a big difference.

I think there’s a lot of valuable analysis we can draw from your experiment.
Do you happen to have any footage from your games?
It would be fascinating to review the replays and break down each matchup’s performance. Specifically, it would be interesting to see if your players were consistently winning their one-on-one situations.
From there, we could analyze which positions had the highest win rates, helping us identify which positions have the most significant impact on game performance.

I ran an experiment on the D-Line.
Ran the same play around 1,000 times to see what position on the D-Line produced the most QB pressures/sacks.
Some good stuff in this thread, interesting. I got wiped earlier in the week but this crash didn't really affect me too much. Honestly though, I've give up grinding now, just gonna play and see what happens.
I think it's more of EA giving people a chance to afford players that they couldn't afford based on if we the community was controlling the market... I mean some of the prices for these players do be out of hand and it makes me not want to play the game if I am building a certain theme team, but then on the other side of this thought is EA is letting play spammers get a good team to spam plays with and that makes me not want to play the game for at least 2-3weeks, because when I play against a team that's a nms team and he beat me doing the same spam plays from you tube commentators, the game is just trash after that, or EA is moving game sliders in the background to make someone 88-89 overall team play better than my 93 overall theme team.. this game is trash i just like the game of football that's why I play it, and now with the Zero chill promo, everyone team is boosted until the playoffs and this game is truly unplayable now..
