A few of the mcs players have said this, if you drop $2k on the game to start the year you should be set for the year, but like any other currency mut coins depreciate too. Maybe spend 2k throughout the year instead of right at the beginning? Control what you can control

My team is worth 5.5MILLION COINS AFTER SPENDING 2 GRAND AND FINISHING TOP 100 MULTIPLE TIMES. THERE IS SOMETHING SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH THAT, EA. BE BETTER. And I will be suing you guys for fun with proxy lawyers rather than going NMS bc I can do that. Merry Christmas

you seem outta the loop, ea don’t care about any of us… only our money! You agreed to the terms when you decided to sign up and play the game. There’s odds and they tell you your chances, you bought it done deal. EA could  give a shit less about you or your account, to personally ghost your card on the auction house. that was a an account transferring coins you saw on the market. Get over yourself. High level players don’t complain and threaten suing a company. Low level players who lose at the game do, especially after losing to someone with a team worse than yours After spending all that money. I spent $500 this year and have a 92  ovr team and 4 mil in coins. Figure it out buddy. Also I pulled 1 LTD (caleb Williams)via opportunity back 2800 madden points. And 5 flawless runs made me 2  mil easy as well last Friday.

Dude, be glad you’ve pulled any LTD’s. I’ve spent around 150-200 on packs and haven’t got any LTD’s or champs.

you can sell around trends quite easily to stop a lot of the super risky benefits. 

Play Wednesday - Monday as normal, sell Tuesday, buy back Wednesday, play again Thursday.

Market shifts by 20% basically every week one way or the other, and you can often skip any harsh price decreases.

I’m just shocked you say you’ve pulled 6 LTDs this year!? My last LTD pull was MUT18 Bruce Matthews. Granted I don’t pull packs often but that’s still quite the streak.

Let us know when you turn this into some type of class action legal maneuver... i'm sure there'd be no shortage of folks willing to sign on.  Happy to provide receipts.  Best of luck on your quest.  EA surely has teams of lawyers ready to fend off these things.

Uninstalling the game and never looking back (unless/until there exclusive NFL license goes away, assuming we all survive to May 2026) is almost certainly the correct approach.  Sadly, we're all ridiculously addicted to this bad, broken, buggy ass mess of a game -- just the way EA intended it.  Their unregulated casino for kids is working quite well.  They don't give a flying fuck about gameplay, or anything short of pack sales.

Zero Chill has changed EVERYTHING.  It's finally possible to field a truly competitive squad without breaking the bank.  Get as many abilities on the field as possible.  For defense, you'll almost certainly want Mid Zone KO on basically ALL of your DBs.  Up to six, if possible -- perhaps Linebackers, as well, depending if you want to play more base sets (3-4 or perhaps Even 6-1) or lean more heavily on Dime/Dollar type formations.

Offense you want to try and get offensive line (i.e. Blocking) abilities, hopefully five-wide, although you may need to run some players OOP to achieve this.  It's worth it.  Difficult to overstate how much the game has changed.  Many of these 87 OVR Stocking Stuffers are borderline elite, especially for ~40k coins.  The value is outrageously good, which almost never happens.  Most of the community has been snoozing on this stuff.

OVR rating Does. Not. Matter.  Abilities are EVERYTHING.

Here's a rough roster guide i cobbled together for some friends during Part 1 of Zero Chill.  It's not an exact recipe to follow, but more of a model to try and replicate in your own roster building efforts.  Please let me know any questions.

If you only spend big on one player, consider Baker Mayfield, who is quite possibly THE best QB in the entire game right now.  Drop Gunslinger (0AP), SFL (5AP) and Gift-Wrapped on him... maybe some TE/RB/Slot Apprentice abilities if you want to tinker with tons of hot routes and go nuts.

Ay bro, for 2 stacks you should be completely satisfied with the investment. Find a way to spend at least $1,500 less. This community is always looking out for people who legitimately need help or just a favor. Don't let ultimate team take your booty like this anymore. Regs and franchise isn't bad either
