Me being honest about the community isn't being toxic, i'm literally telling you what this community is. How many times do you see people mention racist comments or something like that? EA does nothing about it but they still force us to see the "end racism" stuff they promote in the game but they don't mean it.

Im telling you right now, who controls the platform decides whats toxic. I think racism is far from an issue. Alot of people do. And many platforms allow people who think racism IS a big issue in life to gang up on and "bully" (lol) those who dont agree with their views. Then when those people get owned with facts and statistics, those platforms ban them.

Alot of the people who play H2H are just terrible human beings. They want you to hate your life as much as they hate their own.

Most toxic community I've every played with. It's been doing MUT for 3 years and has gotten worse each year. It's just not fun anymore and EA doesn't care because people are donating loads of $ on MUT each year

Mob mentality on the internet. Doesn’t seem like my kind of party but if there’s snacks I’ll stop by.
As for being at the mercy of the platform I would love a platform or a place like some have suggested recently where we are not subject to such oversight.
Are we more toxic than other gaming community today or are we just playing one of the few games where the developer hasn’t decided for us? Are we the lucky ones?
Are any of us surprised that EA has prioritized their bottom line through fighting coin distribution as opposed to social issues? I don’t blame them for having that priority and I don’t necessarily want them to do much differently when it comes to policing. Words are just words and when you start making rules about what can and can’t be said people stop talking. Let’s all put on our big boy pants. We don’t NEED EA to fix it and if we do we’re screwed. We also don’t need a social movement to irradiate those who think differently. It autocorrects eradicate to irradiate? Awesome!
Do we really want EA to be responsible for finding a solution? Do any of us have confidence in EA’s ability to code and launch something like that? I sure don’t. They don’t seem to be able to add a few new cards to game without screwing it up. Second EA’s customer service policy of ignoring us would mean once a bot bans you for something it detected as racism you’re done with MUT for the year because we all know EA doesn’t actually review that stuff.
I wouldn’t mind additional options being available to those who would like to ensure they don’t encounter that repeatedly. The only other complication to this is the children in our community but I think MUT with its current design should be 18+ only.

Same. I put it down to the demographic. I've been round most of the sports games in my time and mut is by far the worst. Couple of shooters might give it a run for its money but muts the worst I have come across

It really sucks that EA has a stranglehold on NFL games.
Unfortunately we're in a position where either we give in and play this broken game, or we're denied an NFL game.

It's EA's responsibility to police things. They bought exclusive rights to make an NFL game . The NFL itself wouldn't put up with such BS, but somehow EA is allowed to get away with it because the ends justify the means.
Having an outsourced team of people that don' t even know what a football is a big slap in the face to us and to those who spend extra $ or time on this game. People get banned for no good reason and there's very little loyalty on EA's part. But the people who deserved to get banned?? - EA does nothing.

Look it be great if people were nice but there no way EA can police people who are rude to others reasonably , obviously death threats and racist remarks with proof will be . What I'm perplexed by is how you guys just don't mute people that are toxic , its the easiest is ever been to mute a person . Also I can tell in seconds if a dude is gonna be a jerk .
If they want to be toxic and waste my time, then I'll call my three timeouts and use my pauses after I get done smacking them lol
