Just wondering what abilities y’all are running? I have a full oline of zero chill players. None of the free abilities seem to stop anything. Pass protector is garbage as is the run protector. Even all day seems like it’s garbage. I’m running linchpin on one of them and my oline still sucks. Idk what to run for my oline. Any help?
All day is half of secure proteçtor. Linchpin is protected to the run game. I'm run heavy so I have Jeff Saturday at a 96 awareness with run protect, along with my rg. My LG would have it too if not for tank an absolute necessity right now. If ur pass heavy and pass protector isn't working, may wanna switch up the playbook. I run ràvens for the singleback ace
Pass protector is only vs edge threat
Wish I knew if linchpin actually did anything. I've never been able to tell.

Oh okay thanks for the advice!! I figured all day was better than any of the protector abilities.

Yeah I might have to switch my playbook because I’m very pass heavy lol. Might start running the ball more though

I would think matador is built into pass protector otherwise what separates it from edge protector ?
Run protector provides a noticeable difference for me, especially vs DTs with inside stuff.

Use Tennessee field and uniforms and hope u get home field advantage lol no holding penalties, set to aggressive blocking and enjoy lol

Good move getting Zero Chill across the entire O-line. At the moment, here's how I have broken down my offensive line scheme:
- LT = Pass Protector
- LG = Pass Protector
- C = Post Up (for dominant double teams, in the event my opponent is only rushing 3, I can essentially guarantee the DT is locked down)
- LT = Identifier (needed to fit it somewhere, kind of waffled on if i wanted this on the edge or interior line)
- LT = Pass Protector
My pocket presence has never felt so good and I've finally got time to make a read. It's still important to get the ball out quickly (hence why Gunslinger is a requirement this year, over ALL else, including velocity abilities, which feels strange to even suggest)... there's going to be interior type blitzes, disengages, loopers, etc. so I would anticipate trying to get the ball out in under 2-3 seconds, but Pass Protector at least gives us a chance. It should fend off the various Double or Nothings we see out there. None of the other pass rush abilities short of Unstoppable Force are particularly impactful, IMO. YMMV, this is how i've been approaching things and I managed to climb from a poor (2-3 Placement games record) which was uhhh Bronze tier, i think to 2900 RP (Champion) in roughly a week in H2H Ranked play.
