Seem to be pretty even, but fields gets 3 AP Gunslinger vs 4 for Vick and Allen?

Each throws differently. Josh Allen supposedly has best throw in game (I have never used him). I like Fields' throw style but he does not get MT or HRM. My son would kill me if I got us a QB that did not get either. You may prefer McNabb who gets GS for 3AP, has the same throw as Fields (Over the top 2) and gets HRM. He also currently gets the Legends boost although no zero AP slots. I used him for one my BND Legends picks and really like him (although using RGIII for now to take advantage of the 2 0 AP slots).

Appreciate it. I will test McNabb out to see how it feels.
I did use Allen for a bit after I pulled him but sold him. I did like his throwing motion and size of his player model helped the throws in my opinion.
I went with Vick because he is fun to use in my opinion and I am fine with his release right handed.
I personally don’t use the extra hot routes too often or roll out much to use playmaker. I am more of a quick read player.

Are we sure its going to be 4 ap? Their abilities wont go up to something like 2ap? Be a discount still, just not 0

I was basing it off of the compare tool on MUT.gg

Here's the rough order i would place the existing crop of QB Release Styles (assuming all else equal). Josh and Baker both absolutely snap the ball with their release types. It comes out quickly. So much so, in fact, that many users in the community are complaining about all the random overthrows. ALL quarterbacks equipped with the Gunslinger ability are going to experience some overthrows, however once you combine a GS ability with an ultra-quick release style, it can make it uncomfortable how often those misses and overthrows occur.
It took me a bit to retrain myself to use Josh Allen, as we don't get much time at all to fire a perfect blue pass. Getting that timing down is serious skill gap stuff, IMO. After a couple/few days, i started to get that dialed back in, but YMMV. I am of the opinion that nothing else matters more this year than getting the ball out quickly (i.e. Gunslinger) -- including, or especially, velocity abilities (SFL/PLE). People barely even try to play defense, so i just expect to have 6 blitzers being sent at me each and every single down, turning so many games into high scoring shootouts. YMMV. Those are my current top three, but please correct me if i'm wrong.
Justin Fields (Over the Top 2) i believe is basically just Generic 2, rebranded for M25. It's not terrible, but hardly a top release style in the game. Average, definitely usable, but not elite IMO. However, i'm still trying to get familiar with all the new release styles, so please take anything i say here with a grain of salt.

- Josh Allen - Lower Three Quarters 2
- Baker Mayfield - Three Quarters 5
- Michael Vick (Lamar, Jayden, etc.) -- Three Quarters 1: these are the old uhh "Trad4" from last year, widely regarded as the best release in-game (although i still think Joe Montana's unique Trad1 was superior, although i believe i'm in the minority here)

Thanks again for the knowledge.
I can tell the releases are a little personal feel or preference to be able to consistently “green” throws like swings in MLB or jumpers in 2K.
To me I feel like the ball on Josh Allen’s release is a little more live than it is on Vick with the same throw power and abilities.

Why isn’t anyone talking about 95 Vince young as best QB?

I guess I don’t bring him up because he is twice as much as any other comparable option and he has an unknown release?

Any thoughts on how unknown release VY Team Diamond fits into the equation?

Oh good call. I only briefly used Vince Young, but was a few weeks ago. I'm sorry, I don't really recall it standing out, but I believe it was the very first Team Diamond I got my hands on, so there's always a chance I was too hyped at the time to be objective. Although if it wasn't good it would have stood out to me almost immediately.
Overall definitely am not familiar enough with all the new M25 QB release styles, but none I've used are bad-bad. Maybe Over the Top 1 being one of my least favorites.
Sorry I can't be more specific about Vince. I'm old and forgetful.

This is by far the best list I have seen so far of the the various quarterback throwing styles. It may just be my impression with these throws, but I though Over the Top 2 felt more like the old Trad4 from Madden 24 (which I actually like alot). From my experience, I did not feel Three Quarters 1 was as smooth and felt closer to Generic 2. However, it is just my impression and I am far and away not a great Madden player.
With the recent drop in price, I could not resist getting Josh Allen to try out his release that everyone on the board seems to love. With the use of GS and PLE, it is a really good, smoother, and fast throw. The only misfire was on a rollout with the throw while he was actually running. The rest seem to be fast dots. However, I am not sure that outside of a better Ability Stack (until 1/9) he is that much better than RGIII. I can definitely understand if those playing at a high level may disagree, but at my level, I find Josh Allen just a little better than RGIII and likely not worth the additional 300K since the abilities will be even very soon.

Your assessment is spot on. I haven't used RG3 (yet) but I'm confident saying you are absolutely correct here. There's not a 300k difference in release between these cards, especially not between Baker and Josh.
By all means I should sell Josh and move to RG3 as he fits my theme team, but we shall see.
@peatrick how is the release of Bo Nix? Haven't used a QB with Three Quarters 2 yet.
