Banned - anyone else in the same boat?

Hi all

I started playing MUT seriously the past month. Just H2H seasons and challenges, nothing too crazy. But have been really enjoying my time.

Yesterday I got hit with a permanent ban. I'm unsure why. The reason they provided was "Match Cheating". The only thing I could think of was because I would use the run commit glitch from time-to-time, but given how well known it was in the community and how often I saw others using it, I thought it was a necessity rather than an exploit.

Has anyone else received a ban recently and can you shed any light on why EA might've banned me?

If you use the madden companion app, sometimes they ban you for that. that may be your problem.

Yes I did! I thought because it mentioned Match Cheating it couldn't be the case. Deleted the app now. Hopefully it gets resolved soon.

Hit them up thru Twitter or their EA Madden help live chat. they can at least tell the amount of time you have on the ban.

thanks for the suggestion. i reached out via Twitter but they can't help unfoetunately, only the TOS team can. I'll just sit and wait

For anyone that has the companion app, when you try and go into ultimate team, does it say "Access Restricted"?

they are doing maintenance rn, so Ultimate Team is currently down

Hi I’ve just had a similar ban for “match cheating“ just wondering did you get it resolved and how long did it take ?
