what was the first ever nfl game you ever played and on what system?
I had 3 games on the regular Nintendo or nes system.
PLAY ACTION FOOTBALL. which had 8 teams and s.f. denver or Washington was best teams.
JOHN ELWAY FOOTBALL. I forget how many teams were in it but elway was the best and hardly missed a throw.
TECHMO SUPER BOWL. Had all teams andplayed probably and kept season stats. based on 1990 season.
Madden
Madden football ‘93 on the Sega Genesis.
I wasn’t even into the NFL at all for another 2-3 years, but it helped me learn the basics of the game a bit better as a 7 year old curious about the sport.
Didn’t play one really then until the N64 started making those NFL Quarterback Club games with Favre on the cover in the late ‘90’s.
I'm from NZ and I got my first console, a xbox one s , in july 2021. I got EA Play so i could play fifa, Madden 20 was also on there but I didnt play it much as it was just sometimes against my dad and brother. when madden 21 came out on ea play i started playing ultimate team and managed to get to a 99 team by the end of the year. Madden 22 i got on release.
Madden is what got me into the NFL. I'd seen the super bowl a few times before but it seemed really confusing and dumb but madden has helped me understand the game and now i love it.
