Who are you guys going with at QB and HB at the start?

I got a plat Kamara on auction for 43k (quicksells for 44), so using him for now.

Right now using just the base Lamar (also a quicksell) until something strikes my fancy.  Keep trying to snipe my boy blue Joshy poo, but it hasn't happened :(

The past 2 years I've really used the launch window to snipe the platinum cards to build my team.  People make a LOT of mistakes early, and I have gotten basically my entire team full of platinum cards for right around (or even under in a lot of cases) their quicksell value.  Makes a nice starter team for cheap/free.

That's an interesting strategy, I like that. I QS my platinum cards but I also pulled pretty much the same cards anyway so I had dupes.....I am finding A-Rod to be very reliable , it's much harder to use a mobile QB in M23 so I think the way to go is with release speed and tthrow power. Josh was definitely under consideration (and still is). If Montana had the Rodgers release he'd be my QB.

Have you tried Chubb yet? I have found power backs to be less effective so far but it could be just the way I am using them. 

I love Mixon but I really wanna try Barry......but I didn't go with him ...I went with Kam..... Wish there was a way to snag Barry also.

Also, how do you like Lamar?  I had trouble with mobile QBs also so far, they can't escape and get run down a lot easier than in M22.....I started going with quick release and high throw power QB instead.....but again, maybe it's just my reflexes LOL...that's what happens when you are a gamer in your 50's !

Love Barry.  He has been my saving grace so far as my QB is only Lamar and running QBs are useless this year.

I will give Chubb a try this weekend and let you know.  I have Brady and his passing is better than Lamar's.  I've found that you can't run often with Lamar, but if you pick and choose your spots, especially with fly routes where the DBs are deeper, you can still take off and rattle off 20 yards without many issues.  Just stay towards the sidelines, as fumbles are real this time of year.  Barry is fantastic, no complaints.  And I would recommend Lamar if you like to run.  If not, plenty of pocket passers available too.
