Battle score points......

Do battle score points matter if there are no weekly rewards for solo battles?  Im not that experienced in mut but if there are no weekly rewards im assuming the battle score points mean nothing?  Anyone able to clear this up for me?  Thanks

In years past, you’d get scaling rewards based on how many battle points you were able to accrue each week. 
 

 I’ve seen a few people saying they aren’t doing those this year, but the tooltip says something about “new opponents and rewards each week”, so I’m honestly not sure.  I hope they keep the rewards though, they were pretty good.

Yes, something doesn't make sense.  If there are no weekly rewards for solo battles and there thru field pass what is the purpose for battle points?  There has to be a reason to accrue more points......

Unless they ever have an objective requiring Battle Points, the current Objectives just seem to be stats and getting wins on different difficulties.

To me prizes are a must or there is no point! If you don't enjoy online play You will never get your CP high enough To get the best rewards. This was not thought through

Yes it was? 

Season is normal leveling. 
Comp is H2H but they realize that not everyone does so they give them some chance with SBs through the week (and increased how many we get)
And then you have your program levels. 

They all go linearly.

I understand.. People go for top 100 to get the best prize! This makes no sense!
