So I started playing more H2H games today and couldn't even get a throw off with Tebow. Started to notice the same thing in challenges trying to get the second team captain token.... I got picked off by CPU De'Vondre Campbell 3 times! Thankfully I had about 13k coins and decided to pick up Skylar Thompson. He is sooooooo much better than Tebow. His release is practically twice as fast, so I was able to actually complete passes against a god squad. Which is crazy because it says their releases are the same. I still lost the game, but it was a major improvement over what I had been doing originally.

Context is important. What OVR was your Tebow at? When did this start? How was he playing before Skylar Thompson was released?

My Tebow was at 83, same as Thompson. It just started today. He was playing just fine before, but I was mostly using him in solo challenges until he started performing badly in solos too.

Only thing he beats him in is DAC and 2 better throw power but thats negligible. Once you get Tebow maxed, hell blow him out of the water.

Yeah Tebow gets WAY better when he’s upgraded so don’t abandon him. He trucks like Marshawn Lynch when you put bulldozer on him, loads of fun.

It wasn't bad throws. It was the fact that I couldn't get the ball out of his hands to an open receiver. Also two of the three De'Vondre Campbell picks were times when I threw the ball out of a sack and it just went straight up.
I will try to get Tebow maxed, but I've also seen Youtubers with maxed out Tebow (ThatWalker) discard him for an 83 QB like Kirk Cousins because he was so bad.

Throwing out of a sack cant be blamed on him, thats animated where youre not going to make those throws at all, at best an incompletion or worse a pick.
That may be a playstyle thing that he liked Kirk better because hes def a worse qb overall.

Hmmm. Maybe I just prefer right handed qbs, it just seemed like Thompson was making throws that Tebow couldn't when I played with him. I'll try to get him to 87 and then judge which plays better.

A lot of people dont like leftys. I just flip the plays and see no difference.

I literally did the testing for all the releases. Its mid. Just because its free doesnt mean its bad. Is Woolen bad? Is Armstead bad? Are all the BND bad? Come on now.
