Great job !!! Thanks
Tebows release feels slower than traditional 5 on deep passes..at least 2.5 seconds ..lol..I need a new qb bad
Gent said:I'm curious as well. Baker Mayfield has Traditional 6 which is rated towards the bottom but I swear his release feels faster than everyone I've used except for Rodgers and maybe Stafford. Could just be a play style thing or in certain scenarios, certain throw motions are faster than they would be if you're standing in a clean pocket (under pressure, on the run, rolling out, etc). Could just all be in my head though.
I haven't bought Baker yet, but supposedly the release is fine on short and medium, but really slow on deep throws, unfortunately, considering he's got a cannon.
Take that with a grain of salt... no empirical data. I can't recall my source, but believe I heard slow deep release info on a MUT YouTuber's channel.
I want Baker for my theme team, but I pumped the brakes until the prices came down for that release reason alone... I packed a Desmond Ridder 86, and he's been fine in game for past 3 weeks.
Jdawg said:When I tested releases this year, I threw 3 short, 3 medium, and 4 long passes for each qb. Depending on the release, some qb releases will feel faster when throwing short compared to other qbs with different releases.
For the chart data is that in this order? Are throws 1, 2, and 3 short,, 4, 5, and 6 medium throws, and 7-10 long passes? Or are they random?
Just trying to help determine the times for different ranges for different releases. Since some may have a slower average being weighted down by a really slow release in a specific range but faster in another range.

Yep.... some QB releases tend to feel A LOT slower on deep passes compared to short and medium passes

Yep, it was a lesser known aspect of releases in M22 that Gen 3 was the best deep ball and on the run release. The people making qb golden tickets understood this.
Any slinger release is going to be great at short and medium distance but will take a bit longer to wind up a deep ball. I can see it with Vick right now.
u don’t any traditional 2 tests ? bledsoe has it not sure about others

He'll update it soon when he finishes testing 🙂
Is Aaron Rodgers the only qb with slinger 1 archetype?

nope, Love also gets it
How good is Bledsoe release?
I don’t understand these releases can someone explain? I have Trevor Lawrence and baker mayfield and mayfields release is much faster then Lawrence’s but according to this mayfield has the slowest release? I don’t see it. I’m actually really happy with mayfields release and hate Lawrence’s

Maybe you're throwing differently with them. QB releases feel different when throwing short, medium, and deep passes, as well as throwing while running.

Yeah I guess that’s possible. I do a lot of short / medium passes and rarely throw passes over 50 yds
