Was reading on Twitter that the community is very upset with madden and a popular YouTuber is doing a movement to push people not to buy packs . I think this is great I know I’m in . Will you guys be supporting this
I don't buy packs with money, so I'm down.
It’s the ”content creator’s” who helped start all the problems in the 1st place. The lack of realization they’re as much to blame as EA is hilarious.

I don't think the content creators are responsible for horrible pack odds, rerolls, programming mistakes and solo challenge reward decisions. What exactly are you referring to? If it's promoting packs then this is not a general issue. I enjoy watching them as a NMS.
EA has chosen to milk the MUT customers in M23 in exchange for a good gameplay. I fully support the strike. But it only makes sense if money spenders join.
I’ll most likely just play more FIFA than Madden. the ultimate team game mode is better and you get loads more packs and coins just playing games, feels a lot fairer. Sure there are some unattainable players for NMS unless you get lucky but there are a lot more players to choose from.
a good example is the icon(legends) swaps promo. They do it a few times a year, you literally earn tokens playing some solo battle games. Then you put them in to a random icon set. I pulled Brazilian Ronaldo last year, an 8m coin card I would never have been able to afford. I also got Maldini in another, a 3m card. So it’s way fairer.
and get this, you can put all your NAT players into sets. If you just save them up you can get some great players.
I think it's idiotic.
Do you go to Vegas and complain that the slot machines aren't paying out more? That is essentially what they are campaigning for.
i dont buy packs, only pack i bought was the first 20 dollar pack when the game came out cuz i had to have herbert, " im a charger fan" but im glad people are doing this, hopefully it helps ea get their shit together, how do you fuck up totw, when it drops every Tuesday, its not like it was a surprise promo, its a weekly promo for Christ sakes

Pretty much but people keep saying if you complain enough, things will change.
The creators do encourage pack buying and the FOMO but they in turn are promoted by EA to do this.
I think their suggested improvements make a lot of sense and I would 100% support this:
Packs are gambling but at the same time there should be a minimum value to be derived from them.
IN order games ive played, you could pay 50-100 for an item but you would have that item for years.
MUT cards only last a few months at best and cost a lot more than that.
Improvements are also needed in the Field Pass to make rare items only accessible to those who pay or grind.
Give Vick to the first 1000 to complete or something like that.

They definitely are not the problem.
They are exploited by EA .
nms is impossible to be competitive

Packs arent the only problem.... EA has been taking away rewards and making it impossible for NMS to compete..... prices of new cards are outrageous (ya ya we can wait for the prices to lower but should they really be this expensive in the first place?).... etc etc

At least the slot machines work.
Seems like a lot of the complaints aren't just about pack odds (though that is part of it) but that the game doesn't work correctly. Nearly every promo that has released has had something wrong with it (sets not working, packs not giving the right guaranteed cards, inaccurate pack descriptions, etc...). Add on top of that the field pass and House Rules/Solo rewards issues where people either aren't getting their rewards at all or are missing large amounts of them and I think people have a right to complain and boycott giving EA more money until they can actually fix the issues.
If this was strictly about pack odds, I would be on the fence about it but it's about the game overall. Every time something new is added to the game, it seems to be broken. Yet they still expect people to spend their hard earned money on madden points for a busted product.
It's sad that EA can't do right by anyone. I have no issues with doing challenges for a BND card but make it a high overall card and let the person choose the player. The TOTW should be a nat 84 card that you can at least try to put in a set you want to do.
I have no issues with them selling packs or bundles but I agree if your paying a hundred and getting low golds and maybe a few elites but not enough to even do a champion set and selling off the card nets you less than what you paid in cash then there is a serious greed problem with the company. A hundred dollar bundle should give out 75 or higher golds for the minimum cards and guarantee either a full champion or enough players to do a champion set.
I like the field pass idea but it could be so much better for both NMS and Pack players.
Imagine going to a car lot and handing over say 20,000 to spin a wheel with a list of cars on it and whatever you land on that's the car you get but there are some eye candies on that wheel. It's how I picture EA Bundles this year.
