Hey guys I’ve been using Holland in the box as my sublinebacker cuz of his speed and man coverage. I just feel like he gets beat a lot by tight ends like Shockey and Casper. I don’t see anyone better right now but wondered if you guys had any recommendation??

The reason he's getting beat is probably because of the Sub Linebacker nerf in Madden 23. Safeties lined up at linebacker will react less quickly in coverage. You need an actual linebacker at that spot.

Thats who I use. Barr is solid too. I Simmons is probably the best from all right now.

I had a feeling that’s why he wasn’t good. So even with the crappy Man Coverage most the linebackers have they’d be a better play? I run a mix of man and zone but more man for sure.

They would likely play better. Plus since we're comparing Linebackers and Safeties, unless it's a primarily hybrid safety their man coverage should be comparable.

It’s tempting to go Simmons again. he looks like a budget beast at 6’4. I had him all of last year with his Zero Chill. He played so good. I wish i had that Parsons. He is a monster. Joyner looks great but that price tag is alittle crazy compared to other guys on that list.
