They've made this meaningless putting 88's out instead of at least 90's. This is a socially progressive promo but most people will just scrap these out for training the moment they get these cards. EA continues to trip over their own dicks with these promo's. They desperately need a community relations team to engage with the community on the issues the players have with the game week to week. Hey EA hit me up I work cheap.

to be fair they are 88s but some of the cards have good stats and good abilities. also its Ea why would they give out free 90's when 91 is the highest in the game

It wouldn't kill EA to over deliver every once in awhile especially after how they've screwed up literally everything since the game launched. I'm just going to say it. They owe the players and the Madden community more than platitudes again especially since they continually fail at the content drops.

i agree but like EA has set the bar so low they prob thought giving free 88s was them overdelivering. i mean look at that 84 Deion they are giving people for buying bag of Doritos... an 84 that's a card would have been cool day 1

Just highlights how out of touch they are with their customers. Again they need a community relations liaison badly.
I get that EA has been terrible this year when it comes to MUT (and pretty much all game modes), but 5 free 88 OVRs is not a bad deal at ALL for NMS players. I personally can't remember the last time that EA put out so many decent cards that you are guaranteed to get for free. Ted Hendricks can be a very solid pass rusher, Zane Gonzales will be the 2nd best kicker in the game behind a card that costs 500,000 coins, and Jim Plunkett could be one of the best QBs depending on his release.
