So I decided to start a Raiders franchise and traded away Darren Waller for draft picks the first year. Unfortunately this left my TE room without any depth. When I was playing a game against the Bears, though, I noticed that it subbed in Divine Deablo from his MLB spot in goal line situations. Just for fun, I picked a play that would fake a jet sweep to him into play action and I noticed he was wide open. He caught 3 passes in that game for 24 yards and 2 touchdowns, including the play I described. So I decided to try switching him to TE permanently, even though he’s only 51 ovr at TE.
Divine Deablo at TE is BROKEN. He burns literally every linebacker he matches up against. The only problem is he can’t aggressive catch, but I think his poor route running helps delay routes, that way when defenders do the thing where they basically run the route for the receiver they do it too fast and Deablo gets wide open.
This past game, he caught 11 passes for 168 yards and two scores.
