Why is EA intentionally ruining their game?

To me,  the breaking point won't be the complaining. It'll be the lack of it. Relationships aren't over until one side essentially checks out. They don't blow up at you, they just stop engaging. 

When the volume of posts on this and other forums dries up, when the AH is bare, when it takes 3x as long to find a game, those will be the surest signs that people have given up and checked out. I think we're already starting to see it.

Because EA is a monopoly, and against a monopoly the customer won't have the reason nor will win in a strike against it. 

So when people started the campagain of packstrike, the only thing that achieved is getting EA angry.

So, the missing rewards from seasons, house rules, the lack of solo battles, etc, is totally intentional, to screw us.

I have learned to not complain about EA and to not critizise them, cause i love to play madden, even when it has its issues, as deactivating X factors after halftime, as frozing sometimes when selecting plays, as banning people that uses the companion app, etc.

I think that maybe, we will get the missing rewards when season 2 starts, if not, then i don't think we will be given any of the missing rewards.

I actually play cfm with 32 other users we have been playing for the past 4 years... this has been by far the worst ever. We can't make it through a season without it glitching. Not to mention sim wins not counting. Full games being played not registering. Players on your depth chart not being able to be used while playing. Disconnects. The list goes on and on. It's just the servers are so bad

Definitely a disappointing start to the season. I quit playing Madden about halfway through M20 and took a step back from the game and the community for a while. It’s too bad that I decided to jump back in, only to see the sad state the game is currently in with all these bugs and broken promos and rewards. Kind of crazy. Especially since the gameplay is actually pretty fun. Maybe it’s just me not playing for so long and coming back after a couple years so it feels fresh again. 🤷🏼‍♂️
Also sad to see so many friends and old faces completely gone from here and MH. It’s like a ghost town compared to the old days.

I have to reboot constantly to stop lag between screen refreshes (it's the only game on my console, so I don't have memory issues).  Graphics on the MUT cards is nearly illegible; gameplay is sporadic, and the game hangs and will drop you between half transitions in squad play, even though your teammate stills see you moving around on the field.  I've seen a host of other problems also reported by others.

The problem is, they don't care.  EA doesn't need to care; we keep coming back and will be back next year.  They care about the money and paying their leadership team millions.  I challenge you to look at the report and tell me otherwise!

ive also worked in software development for more than 20 years and with some of the largest, household names.

All companies make products to generate revenue for shareholders and investors, however EA unfortunately has managed to secure monopolies with a number of their products, that is very unique.

EA’s strategy this year is very much geared towards driving online play and to that end they have done a good job of making this enjoyable by preventing the proliferation of god squads.

EA’s partner agreements are all very much geared towards online exposure and this is where their resources are focused. They are really trying to drive this in media channels.

They have tried to satisfy the majority NMS by making it easier to build a competitive team and they’ve done a good job there.

It is also very clear the teams dedicated to solving the issues we are suffering are not geared to maintain the product.

From the outside there are obvious signs that testing is set at a very low threshold.

There is absolutely no chance that some of these issues could take this long to resolve if there was a desire to resolve them. It’s clearly not a priority despite the talking points TJ is given to read - please don’t blame him.

There are obvious alternatives they could explore to the missing rewards, look how quickly they resolve pack issues and the TVP issue - that’s because they are legally obliged too.

Are they deliberately withholding rewards? Absolutely, this is beyond doubt. 
NMS players have already paid them and FOMO will kick in for the rest. It’s not hurting the bottom line.

I’m sure they think there will be a spending wave when they break the packstrike.

but this a new team which has a history of failure, so let’s see.

I don't know man, I've legitimately been enjoying playing madden mobile on my phone more than madden 23 these past few weeks.

They'll always generate money as long as the whales are staying.... they don't need SBs to get new players when they can just buy the best ones

Maybe EA fires people in the “off season” for madden team and they’re letting the current employees finish the year off instead of a mid season termination, and if the employees know this, then they probably have the mentality of “eh we’re going to be canned anyway so why even try at this point”
