Per Ea new changes to the way Ap on escape artist and gunslinger

Gunslinger +1 AP on all cards

Escape artist +2 AP on all cards

for example, Derrick henry QB will now cost 11 AP for the gunslinger and escape artist.

Thoughts?

I hope they increase ap to twenty cause that’ll be very nice and then the changes wouldn’t be so bad

I have hurts and swapped gunslinger for pass lead. Not the same as gunslinger but I think that might be the move now.

Disappointing but won’t affect my offense too much. I can take off two edge protectors and reach for it. Planned on it anyways.

figures ,,the only qb abilities i use...and my tt cards seem to always cost more ...lol...its like ea hates my nms 49er team..

I wish they could have done this for certain archetypes (scrambler) because it feels unfair that they just came out with this new Joe Burrow and to actually be viable he needs to use 12 AP

Yeah, I think you'll see a lot of people swap out Gunslinger for PLE

It really depends on your play style. If you rely heavily on scrambling, then Derrick is still a good option. What made Unitas unique was that he was the first QB when powered up to have 4 ability slots. You can also run him with  Gunslinger, Escape Artist, Hot Route Master, all at the same time, basically the best QB abilities in one. When he first came out, those 3 abilities costs 11AP on him, but with the AP Changes today, you'll use up all 14 AP on Unitas if you want those abilities. EA took a shortcut on 'fixing' some of the gameplay mechanics that are over powered by just raising the AP.

Just find a good qb with hot route master like Herbert he's about to get a card with gunslinger probably

I think you sell qb and get montana even if you can't power him up at the start thats what i'm gonna do(also nms)
At this point ea should just make them automatic in qbs like how it should be
