what attributes are the most important
I feel like impact blocking is really important.

definitely a top 5 most important attributes. Obviously Run block and/or pass block . Strength and weight also in that top 5 and then depending on what you’re looking for (dominant tackle or pulling guard) stats like acceleration and awareness factor in

I really appreciate your response. I feel like strength matters way more than it did a couple Maddens ago. You really notice it this year.

Pass block itself doesn’t matter; pass block finesse/power are the stats you actually want to look at.
Weight, str, awr is the short version
theres a lot more involved. Check out his posts.
“For those who are new this year the “real blocking grade” is based on a combination of a player’s weight/strength and then stat. Madden has a system assigned to “winning a block” that takes all three of these factors into consideration and assigns a win or loss based upon that data. “

He updates his ranking every time new ones drop and since there’s no OOP penalty anymore you can fit them in any spot .

This. Just use the gold offensive strat for +3 impact blocking and call it a day. I have painstakingly tested Oline abilities and they just don’t seem worth using yet For me. But I have top tier oline. someone who doesn’t may see more value in those abilities.
just the normal RBK rating, impact blocking and the size of the player. Id you think about it the RBK is the counter to Block Shed, pass block finesse is the counter to finesse moves, and pass block power is the counter to power moves. I don’t believe run block finesse and run block power matter at all in a game situation.
Let me keep it a buck with you, RBP and RBF are the key factors. Impact block and overall size of the player matters for RBK, but as long as the player you’re looking at has high RBP and RBF relative to other players at his position you will be fine.

Have to disagree, RBF and RBP don't really make a difference, that'sbeen labbed and tested....

Wasn’t it labbed and tested that RBK and PBK doesn’t matter like at all???

Yes

Maybe I’m wrong, but pretty sure when RBF and RBP was first added it didn’t matter for much although you can test it yourself and see that now (this year at least) it does affect how well your lineman are blocking

I go off what Where in the Reddit thread above I linked. Her did all th e testing for all of it. Haven’t seen anyone else even try to test it

I used to use that too.....but his testing and the code he looked into from MUTleaks is a few years old. I believe that the coding has changed. For example...Forest Gregg was my best O lineman for a long time. Dude weighs less than some of my fullbacks LOL...
I sub Wheregodsdare but honestly he's not a top tier Madden player. He's going by pure analytics based on 4 year old code. I am an analytical guy myself, I work with finance and numbers for a living....when I coached I went by analytics a LOT....but I have to go with what I see in front of me. And I don't believe that the testing from those years ago is all still accurate.
I've seen varying opinions on this...so do whatever works for you. Against the CPU you can use whoever you want, you can win and play well with most players and schemes. In h2h it's a different story. And abilities trump attributes and stats anyway
