Strategy item question

So i have legendary Let it rip with times 2 throw power, if i get a defensive strategy item with plus throw power will it boost my throw power even more? Do i need to get in the zone times 2 or  can i get an epic strat item with plus 1 to throw power and get another throw power

I made this mistake. I had both legendary  items with the throw power boost. I grabbed the defence one with the coverage boost. it doesn’t give you the throwing power boost twice.
