if I run a cover 2 scheme on defense what abilities should I have

what abilities should I have and where

Cover 2 man or zone?  I play alot of cover 2 zone as well as man and this works pretty good for me

 I have tip drill or pick artist on both safety's and 2 cb for 4ap

Mid zone ko on sublb for 1ap

Unpredic & UP on rolb - 2ap

Unpredic on lolb - 0 ap 

Mlb1-lurk 1ap; mlb2-deflat 0ap (mainly for kickoffs)

DT- DON 3ap

DE - def rally 1ap

X-factor: universal coverage on both safety's and sublb 

I def adj coverage to "swat ball". With the tip drills/PA on my secondary, a swat usually ends up in a pick. I rarely get mossed/aggd.

 I shade "give cushion" & "underneath" in zone. The give cushion lures them into an "open" throw but the underneath coverage gets there for a swat/pick

"Press"  cover & shade "overtop" in man. The overtop coverage helps if the wr beats your press.

My team isn't that good but I beat am able to beat much higher rated teams due to good defense
