Upvotes and Downvotes on a post  or comment would be nice... used it before on reddit and muthead and it makes it easy to see whether something is credible or helpful or not just with a glance

Upvotes and downvotes tend to become trolling grounds.  People downvote helpful threads just to troll the OP.  It's been discussed and who knows what the future may bring, but the upvote/downvote option is not as clear cut as it seems.
