TOTY Tokens

I know each year they come out with TOTY cards, and you can do 10 stars or so in the solos to get a free one.

My question is, these TOTY tokens that the TOTW full game challenges are giving out, are they the same as last year where like 17 of them would get us a free one as well? I don't remember full game solos for these TOTY tokens last year.

You need 17 of the 21 TOTW Tokens to get a TOTY player at the end. (I know there are only 18 weeks in the season, so I'm assuming this probably includes playoffs)

Just asking exactly where you saw that it’s 17 of 21 because I have 16 and I’m really hoping for an extra one! I’m also 8 stars short of the free TOTW hero card, all because I started the game about 3 weeks after it came out.

I heard a rumor it’s from the back of the actual TotW token cards it says 1 of 17 needed for the exchange set.

I also have 16.. spent the whole year hearing I'd be able to miss out of 4, but still did as many as I could, yet I'm short one on launch date. Haven't heard anything about playoffs TOTW...

Someone on muthead said you can earn (3) more in the TOTY solo challenges at 30, 60, and 90 stars.  I haven't been able to verify myself but it would bring the total to 21 (18 from weekly TOTW solos + 3 from the TOTY solos)

You can get three more with the stars in solos.

I got 14 so...?....PROFIT!

I shoulda kept up with these throughout the year, kicking myself now. I’ll only end up with 8. 😞
