Swapped Positions w Larry Allen and Jackie Slater, bad idea?

So because Allen gets 1 AP Secure protector, and RT secondary position, and because Slater looks really good too and can move (and gets RG eligibility) , I swapped them in my lineup. Allen at RT and Slater at RG. Been pretty good so far. 

It's a much better use of AP and I get Secure protector on the edge

On inside run plays I sometimes would swap them back in-game for a play here and there but on passing downs I go with the swap

Anyone else use them like this or am I the only crazy one, LOL?

Nope I think thats a geat idea, although personally I have just stuck with Jahri Evans at RG and put Allen at RT. Because of weight Evans true RBK and PBK will be about the same as Slater

I have Jahri, got his LTD when it dropped, sold and then got the redux....But Jackie has 95 RBK and 95 PBK before any boosts or strat cards so I figured I had to give him a look . Before him I was going with Harvest Zack. who replaced Jahri. Jahri played well though....good card

Edit- re your note about weight....I hear you, almost a 40 lb difference. I thought weight would be a bigger factor on the O line but it hasn't seemed to be this year, but if I see Slater getting bulled by a 300 pounder I will probably go back to Zack...you get nasty streak, post up, or secure protector for 1 AP with him

Yeah thats a good plan. I eventually plan to do the same when they come down in price and can go back to using a full legend line.

Like CoachSky said above, Slater's a bit light  so I will keep an eye on that but I could always fill in with another Guard who is bigger, like Zack who I had mentioned above
