It’s too OP. Period. Just played a guy who ran for 75 yards with hurts when I contained and had a spy every single play. He’d just run straight up the middle right at the spy and then 90 degree turn on a dime and run around the spy.

So I’m pretty good at using escape artist (Tebow with TT and strategy boosts) but I’ve learned that when I play people who are actually decent at defense, I cant do a lot of the funky stuff I do against everybody else.
just sayin; there’s definitely strategies out there to stop it.

There’s also strategies to stop the rollout corner Bomb route that glitches out deep blues on every play (Which has never existed in any previous madden until they broke zones this year) But that doesn’t change the fact that it’s broken and should be fixed.
If you think containing + QB spy isnt a legitimate counter to EA you’re football knowledge is weak or are extremely biased as an EA user. 🤷🏻♂️

Considering there are several ways to stop it, especially if you are a pretty good Defensive player, I have to disagree.
no point In having my 96 speed russ if he will get ran down by 80 speed lineman

theres hundreds things I would change about the game but let’s just face it…. It doesn’t matter. either get better or stop trying so hard. they aren’t going to change anything

So what’s the point of your reply? Just suck it up?
OSA was OP last year. Then they nerfed it by raising its AP so much nobody uses it. Only happened cause people complained about it.

Understand your frustrations, but disagree about removing EA (now if we want to remove all abilities I'm on board). EA is not difficult to contain nor is rollout corners, and I'm a bad player. Running for 75 yards is not very much...75 yards every play would be. No matter how good we may feel we are, there is 100% of the time someone better. So I have learned to learn from my many beatings. Keep plugging away and things will change. Best of luck.

They did just raise the AP on it. 🤷♂️
I don’t like having superpowers in the game either but they probably aren’t going away anytime soon.. so might as well learn how to defend it better and/or use it yourself if you think it’s that OP
the mike vick kids have been doing this ridiculous play style for years now. It sucks I agree

I used it on Hurts, but i got better at the game and removed Escape Artist altogether putting more AP on my WR's. I just dont want to be someone i dont like someone else play like, so if i cant play madden proper way and lose because of it, so be it. But escape artist is really a newbie way of gaming.
I get EA too, they need to keep kids engaged and playing, so it is what it is.
