Don't Tell Me EA Doesn't Nerf Cards

I have a 47/50 Chargers TT so I use Herbert at QB boosted to 92. Suddenly in both H2H and SB's the guy is underthrowing deep routes resulting in picks and KO's. I get it in H2H as DB's are much stronger, but SB's I play on the minimum 10% just to do objectives...

Yes, they nerf cards. How else do you think lower overall cards are not viable later in the game?

Sounds to me that you're relying too much on deep routes though. My team is hot garbage compared to most online users and yet I still find ways to win.

Don't be afraid to check down. Use hot routes to give yourself easy throws. Think about how to trick their user. If I'm planning to send a player on a deep crossing route, I'll have a player on the other side run a slant. That way, I can force the user to make a decision. If they cover the slant, the deep route is open. If they cover the deep route, the slant is open.

Try this and then decide whether you need a Qb change or not. I personally use Matthew Stafford's Harvest card and have no problem in H2H.

Of course they do.  When he drops, he plays like the best QB in the game, because he is.  Hes no where near the top QB in the game now, why should he play like it?

Guys, listen. Solo Battles at 10% your WR's run streaks and are open by 10+ yards every time. That isn't the issue. It's that suddenly he can't hit those streaks in stride as he used to he is underthrowing a noticeable % he didn't used to.

You can't rationalize that against a dumbed down CPU opponent.

If he can't hit some throws, then don't make him.

Either that or get a new QB.

One they aren’t as good as they used to be.

Don't think they did really. Was using 86 Parham in October and early November and was dogging on everyone so I don't think they make players bad. Players just naturally get outdated.

I bet they somehow get to chalk it up to dda also! Bastards.

Do you have edge protector abilities on your tackles? He’s probably getting rushed and that’s throwing off his throws. Herbert is not A QB anyone should be using online. Add Charger team chems elsewhere & upgrade at QB. most people are going to blitz hard if you are still using him

Yeah I think I would upgrade at QB as others have mentioned, and add an additional charger at another position to keep the chemistry numbers up. Much better QB options out there now until he gets an upgrade.

Calm down. I’m just running through all the possibilities so that I can know how to help you. I’m only trying to give you the best advice I can, so please don’t be rude.

Dice rolls and cards get outdated. i would try to get 50/50 and see if that helps things but that cards 3 months o and much better out now. 
 

If it’s on rookie for solo battles woof. Unless your team is bronze and golds it’s just dice rolls or the sliders were adjusted or something we can’t see/account for.
