Clay Matthews and Alan Faneca are this week's new Legends in MUT 22. Matthews and Faneca have both made appearances in MUT earlier this year, with Matthews appearing in the first Campus Heroes release and Faneca as the Steeler's set reward in the Team Diamonds program. Today's release also marks the first appearance of 97 OVR LTDs, so we can expect to see 95 OVR Redux players coming sometime soon.
Clay Matthews is a Run Stopper LOLB with 92 SPD, 95 ACC, 96 PRC, 95 BSH, 92 PMV, and 75 FMV ratings on his LTD and fully upgraded Power Up. If you can't afford Micah Parsons, Matthews might be worth a look, primarily due to his BSH and PMV. Don't expect him to win many rushes with a finesse move though. Clay spent 10 NFL seasons in Green Bay with the Packers before heading to the L.A. Rams for a final season in 2019.
Alan Faneca is a Power LG Archetype with 95 STR, 97 PBK, and 97 RBK ratings on his LTD and fully upgraded Power Up. The offensive line doesn't usually include the most exciting positions for a Legend, but this new Faneca has both the highest PBK and RBK ratings at left guard currently in MUT. Alan Faneca played the majority of his 13 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, making stops in New York with the Jets and Arizona with the Cardinals before retiring after the 2010 season.
