The Legends Program received its first update of MUT 23 today after last week's 8-player debut of the program. Jeremy Shockey (TE) and Chris McAlister (CB) are the Boss Legends that can be earned by completing their sets, while Clay Matthews is the latest LTD available in packs until 10 am ET on Monday, September 5th.
Recent NFL and Madden fans might remember Clay, but this Clay Matthews is actually his father who played for the Browns and Falcons from the late-1970s until the mid-1990s. LTD Clay comes with discounted Extra Credit (1 AP), Unfakeable (1 AP), Double or Nothing (2 AP), and notable ratings of 85 SPD, 88 ACC, 90 FMV, 87 BSH, and 88 TAK.
After taking last year off, tight end Jeremy Shockey is back in Madden Ultimate Team. Shockey played 6 seasons with the Giants before heading to the NFC South and playing for the Saints and Panthers. Adding Shockey's 86 OVR, 88 OVR, and 90 OVR versions to his Power Up item will unlock discounted Mid In Elite (2 AP), Deep Out Elite (2 AP), and Slot Apprentice (1 AP) in his custom ability bucket.
Chris McAlister is the final Legend of the day and this 3-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl Champion can equip Ravens Team Chemistry or Saints. Add Mcalister's 86 OVR, 88 OVR, and 90 OVR items to his Power Up to unlock discounted Medium Route KO (1 AP), Unfakeable (1 AP), and Deep Out Zone KO (2 AP) in his custom bucket.
