The new Legends in MUT 23 this weekend are LTD Doug Baldwin, LTD Sammy Knight, Mark Brunell, and Kevin Greene. Other than lifelong Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin, the rest of today's Legends played for 4 or more NFL teams and can fit on multiple Theme Teams. If you're looking for LTD Doug Baldwin and LTD Sammy Knight, they are available in packs now until 10 AM ET on Monday, January 16th.
All of today's Legends have something to bring to the table, whether it's solid ratings, ability combinations, or simply filling a position of need on a Theme Team. But if you can deal with a left-handed QB, Mark Brunell could be HIM at the QB position in MUT for a little while. Between his final 3 buckets, Power Up Brunell can equip some powerful combinations out of the following 4 discounted abilities: Set Feet Lead (2 AP), Fearless (1 AP), Dashing Deadeye (1 AP), and Hot Route Master (2 AP). With 89 SPD, Brunell will not be a run-first QB, but it's enough speed to help him move around in and out of the pocket to extend plays. The most important thing working for Brunell is his QB release of Slinger 1, which is considered by many to be one of the best releases, if not the best QB release in MUT. The only other quarterbacks currently in MUT with Slinger 1 are John Elway, Aaron Rodgers, and the ever-popular 76 OVR Jordan Love.
