Team of the Week 9 has been revealed and is targeted to go live in MUT today at 1:30pm ET. Today's new release features 91 OVR LTDs Mike Gesicki and Kamren Kinchens, and 90 OVR Champions Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Zack Baun, and Amani Hooker.
His team ultimately lost in OT against the Rams by a score of 26-20, but Jaxon Smith-Njigba certainly showed up for the Seahawks, who were without star WR D.K. Metcalf for the second consecutive week. In the game, Smith-Njigba caught 7 passes for 180 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Our next Champion for Week 9 led the Eagles' defense in a 28-23 win over the Jaguars, doing a little bit of everything for Philly. LOLB Zack Baun recorded 10 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 2 pass defenses, and 1 interception in the contest.
Our final Champion of this week came up big in his team's close battle with the New England Patriots. Safety Amani Hooker intercepted rookie QB Drake Maye twice in the contest, but none was bigger than the INT in overtime that sealed a 20-17 win for the Titans.
