Worst Year for Golden Tickets Ever

Hey all, I'm curious about what you think of the golden ticket program this year. Personally, I've been a MUT player for over 10 years and have never been so disappointed. Golden tickets have been my favorite program in the game since EA introduced them, and I always look forward to the tradition of trying to pull the best cards in the game at this time of year. I can't believe how bad they are this year - I mean they're worse than the UL and ROH promo. There's cards out here with 3-4 zero AP slots meanwhile golden tickets have two. Now I've heard that Mean Joe Green and Gronk got hoed on abilities for tomorrow - and not because of the creator, but EA. 

I heard the Gronk creator told EA for an avalanche ability bucket, but they didn't bother to tell him that wasn't allowed, so they used enforcer instead. If this is true, I want to personally call EA and tell them to go fuck themselves. Not to mention, with two slots, MJG is useless compared to Mike or Dawkins at FS. Peppers is a decent sub LB but that card isn't shit compared to previous Peppers GTs. Kincaid has the catching stats of a mid 90 card. I can't believe what EA has done to a program that used to be considered the best and most popular. 

Of course, these are all my opinions. I'm sure there are some people out there happy with the program. That's why I'm making this poll, because I want to see what the community as a whole thinks. Maybe, if we all collectively vote that this program is horseshit, we can show it to EA. At the very least, I'll make sure to mention it to the Madden VIP handler when he calls me next since I'm in the program, and this gives me a voice. I want to use that voice to speak on behalf of the community. If you have any suggestions on how they could improve it, or if you have certain things you liked about the program, please comment them down below and I'll try to relay everyone's messages to EA. Ya it's a bit of a let down that they are not the best cards in the game.

ItsDom mentioned on X that MJG will get avalanche as an ability (as well as DZKO for 1 and MZKO for 0). So, I'm not sure why they wouldn't allow gronk to have it. However, I think those 2 cards will be very useable. They will be really overpriced though which is where I'm most disappointed.

First of all, I don't think every player should be able to access the best cards in the game day 1. That privilege goes to the money spenders, and the players that devote an absurd amount of hours, or the market/menu players that build sets all day. But 2-3 million coins per card? I'm not horrible with coin management but I've got enough coins where at this point I'm going to wait until they all drop and then maybe pick my favorite 2? that sucks

Not to mention you have to pay money just to pull one

I don’t mind the high prices cause it’s nice for golden tickets to feel rewarding and exclusive. It’s how it’s supposed to be imo. 

I just find it stupid when the high price doesn’t match the talent of the card. Take the real deal ltds for example. 3m+ for a card that’s straight dookie as far as 99s go. 
 

GTs aren’t quite real deals level mid, but the cost doesn’t equate to the value they offer to teams, imo.

Ya, I’ll still have to hope for a lucky pull or a tvp pack to flood the market just to get to use one though. Which kind of sucks, but also super scummy that the best way to pull them is spending actual money. Maybe back in the fall, but I’m not wasting money on this game. Summer is about here, got A lot of better stuff to do.
